I am more obsessed with this"hobby" than perfecting the experience. I have reached my Happy place with vaping, between what I just posted and genesis RBAs. There is a big difference between a silica style rba and a genesis RBA. Once you get into either style you will never go back. There is a bit of a learning curve. Once its overcome everything becomes OK. You can rebuild a RBA for pennies, literally.

And that's exactly what it's all about. Glad for you!

I'm happy with my X2 and my juice. I'm still trying to find my preferred delivery system, so I got a 901-T atomizer and carts on the way along with some M3's. Next week I'll be grabbing a x2 clearomizer to try out. The perfect clearo is out there somewhere.

I like the X2's very much, except when they leak. Keep that tissue handy. When they're not leaking, they perform great and overall I'm glad that I have them. Until the vivi comes at least, lol.

Check out the Vivi Novas, they are great and the heads are replaceable and more importantly the heads are reduildable. There are some great mod threads on how to rebuild them as well as open the airflow up on them. I actually own 3 and keep them full at all times. They are a great inexpensive way to have several 3.5 ml tanks full with diff flavors.

You know, I'm almost ready to go back to SmartSmoke. They have the old-style M3's for the 808DM-1 batteries, and the only issue with them was they had to be blown out with every re-fill. Each one lasted me about 2 weeks. I'm really hoping these new M3's work as well.

Absolutely not a sin to drop the twist. Actually, it is your duty. After all, think of the savings. Disposable vs rechargeable battery fed and built like a tank. My hubby wouldn't mind. He doesn't know what they cost and since I manage the moolah, I could tell him it cost $30 and he wouldn't even question it, lol. This man was happy with the V2, what can I say? Ignorance is bliss in his case. Gotta love him though. I spend a fortune on hobbies and he barely says a word. Especially after I b--ch slapped him.:lol::lol:

   I would but Hubby does the bills and the money watching for us......god help us if I was in charge :D

I do tend to NOT spend or at least Control my spending. But when I do.......yowza!

I have a spreadsheet that I am tracking my spending on vaping vs what I would have spent on cigs... I am in the black by $120 :rickroll: When I hit ....maybe $400 in the black....I might go ahead and get it. There is no rush. ;)

So far it's my Pyrex tank 6 ml slim from theecig, XL 1.7 ohm I laser drill hole, Pyrex drip tip v.2 lavender, Vamo set 7.5 Watts no2 with AW IMR 18350 700 mah ( plenty of them) and several juices, all WTA except DIY and some from Vendors that mix up 36 mg nic 70pg/vg.
With spare 510 standard ohm joye Attomizers in various lengths colors for dripping My best Top Shelf choices vapes to get better flavor and hits but I use the pyrex Glass tank system the most, which I have learned I can drip if I crave an extra flavorful hit.
It has taken me since July and 18 or more different vendors ( that's a lot of shipping) to narrow my present favorite down. More money than I d initially planned but I am actually celebrating the very near conclusion of a LOT of research, shopping, reading ecf, asking question ( especially about batteries) and major experimenting. I expect to spend $about 100 a month for more small experiments and supplies. I have preordered a Flair mechanical 3.7 mod (special metal box) I hope it will vape as nice as my Vamo but it definitly looks very nice. Some day I want a Precise Plus 18500 and kick because the Flair does not take a kick. A very new and nice one. If its still around and gets up graded I love the Megadalon mini sized. That would be lovely. A very easy shape to look at. (never held one but I have a good imagination). I also want a wood box mod 5 volt capacity drip/tank mode combined with metal medium size. But I am done shopping for this year I can safely say. Only 3 weeks or so left. Maybe after that 3 weeks the compulsion will fade and I can wait on all the new things for awhile.

Missed this one. I'm not really looking to get into anything involving adapters. There is a carto-tank that V4L or V2 has that I may try out.

I will definitely need to learn how to rebuild the vivi heads. My problem is that I have a rotation of about six different flavors that I vape every day because my buds get acclimated easily if I just do 1 or 2. i'm starting out with a purchase of just two vivis and three head replacements but if I like the system, I will def need more tanks and rebuilding is the cheapest way to keep them going.

I plan on still keeping my X2's which are 808 from Smokeless Image. They're supposed to be releasing their version of the T3 which I will definitely be trying. Even though 808's aren't the most popular system, they were my first foray into real vaping and will always have a place in my arsenal. I have to blow out the X2 clears after every refill also, but don't much mind it cause I love the vapor production and the flavor. Hopefully the T3 will be an improvement.

I don't really plan on moving away from 808's at all actually. There are plenty of options out there for me, including VV devices, carto-tanks and rebuildables that I'm perfectly happy keeping everything compatible.

Carto tanks suck. I went down that route 6 months ago and they are great 1 out of 7 times. I would save your money and try something else. Vivi Novas are a regular 510 connector. No adapter involved. The Minis fit on an eGo batt nicely.

For $14 you get the tank and 3 heads. I bought 3 full size over a 2 month span. Then they released the minis so naturally I had to buy a couple of those.:D

I wonder if the Pyrex tank folks blow each one individually, or blow/purchase pyrex tubes that they cut, grind, fire polish and anneal. See, here I go again. Another thing to research. Glass absolutely fascinates me. I do pot melts in my kiln. Tons of fun.

Hehe, yep adapters would be in order, and w 808 batts it would look funny. Honestly, I dont think many of us stay with 808s for long at all. I started with them and after 2 weeks I moved up to eGos and that was when I knew I was going to be ok.

I started out with V2. Stupidly I stayed with them for way too long. After using their very limited cig-alikes, low quality cartos etc., I started over with the Echo then the eGo. Difference is like night and day. Do yourself a favor and try a Nova mini and a Vision Spinner. (not affiliated with either just a happy camper with eGo etc.)

My favorite thing currently is my Provari. Feels great in my hand, excellent performance across the board, looks great.

But I'm also super impressed with this SS mesh, #400 & #500. I'm still pretty blown away how well SS mesh wicks, flavor is stupidly improved, the longevity of SS over fabrics...its all amazing.

I think once my AGA-T & A7 RBAs show up they will more than likely become my objects of obsession for awhile.

Getting around to try Ahlusion's liquid was a pretty big game changer for me. The tobacco flavors are amazing, best and most realistic tobacco flavors I've had yet.

See, now there are plenty of options for staying with 808's. SI has the X2, an eGo styled passthru from 650 to 1300 mAh; V4L and NHaler have VV 808 threaded devices; and from everything I've read Kanger and SI are much more consistent with their 808 cartomizers than either Smoktek or Boge are with their 510's.

Not really trying to knock 510's or eGo's here, it's just that there are a number of "big boys" options for 808's that are available these days that most people seem to be unaware of. The argument that you have to move from 808's to 510's doesn't hold as much water as a year or two ago, or even 4 months ago.
