Thanks, Roxy! I think I'd like to get a couple of these on my next fast tech order. Now that things look even more dire with the FDA, I'm trying to figure out how many attys I need to last me the rest of my life. Finding a few cheap ones helps. :D

Me, too.

I wasn't that keen on my Orchid. Flavor really only shone with strong fruits, and no adjustability on airflow with the v3 at least.

Linda, moving the top cap of the Nectar adjusts the airflow. You don't have to have the airhole fully open.

V5 has no airflow adjustments either, so I just use a single coil and plugged one airhole.

Not quite done modifying it but good enough for a picture and a vape.

I got all my vape mail today, too. 5 mechs, some kicks and 18490s, and a Magma that I want to use to sample juices. The Stingray X and the New Yorkers worked great for a sample vape, but I can't seem to figure out this Nemesis. I figured out you need to take that little top tube off with an 18650. I think someone said it is a kick tube. (Haven't even looked at those yet. I just want to get them working first). But no matter what adjustment I make, I just can't seem to get it to fire. I don't want to put it in my vapocalypse box until I know I can get it to work. Grrr. :censored:

Watching Robert Ellis do anything is painful.

Slide the Kraken glass up and pull the cotton  through if you must... No he'd rather try and push it through the coil with a piece of wire.

He has a iPV D2 video out from 2 days ago, I guess he didn't know the D2 has no step down in power mode. Instead of explaining such, he goes through 6 minutes of F-Bombs about a $39 mod...
He's hilarious! Oops. Nope. @&&/#!!! Nope.

I only have 1 fruit that I vape and not very often, so I guess I'll pass on the Orchid. I guess if I vaped unflavored, I'd probably like everything. :D But I tried it and it was gross to me.

I'm going to put a build on this magma in a bit here. I see that it's dual coil, so I'm glad I already have the experience with the Aqua. I'm wondering if I just drop the wick tails down in those deep juice troughs.

I'll put them on my list, Eric. But one concern I have is that a lot of people say they don't get much flavor from them. Flavor is my top priority in a vape. (Which is why I have so many Erls! :D )
Vapor Ranger has Ehpro Kayfun Lite Plus v2's on clearance for 9.95. The pic shows the old tips, but mine came with the new style. All 7 of my full size are Ehpro, & so is one of my Nano's. Flavor+++, & you can tootle puff away!

I saw that, but I'm going to have to think about it. I think Kayfuns hate me! I continue to have problems with the 3.1s that I have. 2 tanks and then dry hits. And I've carefully gone through every tutorial and asked questions here in this thread, but still have that problem. They hate me, I swear they do! :D

I think I watched a full video once, suffered through him finding his tweezers, then looking for his screwdriver, dropping the atty a couple of times and showing the build to the camera with the important part out of frame.

Now I just speed through to see if he has evolved any and I end up closing his video before it ends. Watching Ellis is like watching Pete's Place.

I think Pete followed the Fasttech instructions on how to PROPERLY build and wick a KFL...

Just no.

I've only found one fruit I can vape & it has to be as a cream. I can't do most tobacco's either, unless they are sweet. My favorite's are bourbon custard's.

I curl the wicks into S shapes and fill the troughs. I can't say that's the best way, but it works for me.

Just put your wick ends touching the deck d away from the channels. And don't use a lot of wick. The wick should move well thru the coil. Not tight at all. And don't close off your airflow too much. I've been using them exclusively for almost a year & seldom had a dry hit, & then I had too much wick. The coil was choking off juice flow to it. They were my first rebuildable & I've stuck with them because the flavor is great, the tanks are a good size, they work on anything, including mechs, I can change between metal & M tanks d change up the look. I'm happy! I'd love to get an Achilles dripper or 2, but can't figure out how to buy them on that Frog in Fog site. Might just get Magma's although I don't do duel coils. I need the screw apart kind because I can't get the pull apart kind apart.

Thanks, NoFumus. I'll try that when I get myself in gear and put a build on it. If it works for you, that sounds like a successful build to me. :D

I've been pretty careful to get my wicks away from the juice channels, not touching the sides, and trimmed at the ends. But still have this thing where 2 tanks vape fine, then the 3rd give me a dry hit. I may try it with less wick, but generally rayon you can stuff the coil pretty tight since it shrinks a bit when it's wet.

The Magma does screw apart. I got this one at Vapor Range with 2 of my mechs. It was on sale for $9.99 I think.

Well, you are not the only one, I know they hate me...

A wonderful friend sent me one over a year ago, and first build fine, but after that it was either leaking or dry hits. I tried so many different ways, they just caused me problems. Put it away for about a year and tried again, first few puffs using all the tricks I could remember from all the KFL info , tips and tricks. I thought, I GOT IT, bought a second one in the classifieds, then the same thing....

I still have the "gift one" but sold the others I bought.

Since then I have FEV3's, Phenomenons, TFGTs and one dripper and no problems. My first RBA was the GG Odysseus V2 and thats all I used for years.

Sometimes some atties are just not for some.... :(

Nemesis has a specific set of what to do in what sequence in fitting new battery mode. Once you have the right pieces together its a matter of having the positive (top) pin adjusted in balance with the adjustment of the switch. Make sure you realize there's a tiny narrow ring (beauty ring/fuse ring somethign like that) that can go unseen and needs to be removed from which ever other tube it's attached to.... there are a few good step by step guides on the interwebs and/or here on ECR.
