I vape everything dry when its rewicking time if its a tank I can't access the deck on, or those gennyish tanks, or I just want to give the tank a good wash.
I do the same, I don't waste a drop.
I have an original micro version ... I love it [emoji7]That micro RDA version would drive me nuts

I can tell you about my silver one that's been running for about 6 weeks
The black one needs a bath and I'll test it on the Renegade mod when it and new batteries get here. I currently have 10 dual battery mods in use testing stuff so I've maxed out my married pairs of batteries. I was down 2 pairs anyway because my old Sigelei 100W needs new ones.
Well mine has arrived, Looks good just needs a bath. Any recommendation on size of coil/ It will be a single coil.

I mistakenly thought they were the same.
With a single strand like plain 28 or 26, you can go 2.5mm. If its twisted or clapton, 2mm. Higher coil placement helps with larger coils, but you may need to experiment with coil height to find where you like the flavor best. Make sure you do a second resistance check with the deck snapped into the chimney chamber.

I have 2mm 26/32 claptons in my Bellus. I also have them up higher.
Because I used 2mm coils and have 50/50 juice in it I cut the wick tails to the bottoms of the slots, then cut an angle off each one to make a gradual taper. Then tucked them each in.

I just posted some pics for you, hope that helps. That's been the build in my silver one. I'm not sure what I'm doing with the black one yet, but maybe 26g 316 SS for tc. I'll take pics of that also.
And if you had, say, 70/30 vg/pg? I've been getting intermittent dry hits (or close). I've tried wicking the thing using a wide variety of ways that folks have suggested, and haven't complete eliminated the problem. At the moment, however, the wicks are shorter, and it's leaking.

Maybe vapers should set up a foundation. We donate a small amount of money that we receive back in the form of a grant. Then, we can do testing of the effects of vaping on human subjects -- i.e., ourselves. That way, we should have free and easy access to nic and vape gear, AND it should be tax deductible.
