I am new to the forum and I don't understand a lot of what's going on. Can someone tell me what is the best e-cigg? What I am looking for mainly are these things:

convenience (not too many gadgets to deal with)
cheap (or cheaper than regular ciggs where I don't have to order a lot of stuff a lot of times)
long lasting battery (or at least that I can use it even w/o a battery)
good customer service and warranty
tastes like a regular cigg (Marlboro reds is what I smoke)

I see that N-Joy is up there as one of the best regarding these features. Am I right or does someone have a different opinion?

Last and not least, what are "juices"? Are these flavors that people add? If they are, then I don't really care for that because I just want a cigg that tastes like a cigg.

Any help is awesome!! I don't want to overspend since I am on a tight budget but I want to QUIT regular cigarettes ASAP.

One more question, when the battery runs out, does this mean it just doesn't give out vapors and/or light up but you can still use it and puff on it?

THANKS SOOO MUCH! I have been trying to post on here and it's not letting me - hopefully now it will work!

Keep looking I would not recommend njoy to anyone.I had one and it did not last a week.I have a kissbox from janty and have been using it since 2/2/09 everyday with the same atomizer with no problems. The kissbox is expensive but I feel it has been worth it.The best thing about the kissbox is that it does not have a fake cherry light which can use up the battery faster.Just letting you know what my experience has been.Good luck and don't get discouraged if you don't get the results you hope for it takes awhile to used to the difference.

...I enjoy what I have (a 510) but we are in the stone ages as far as e-cig tech goes ...

"The Perfect Product" throws back to the pre-60s era where manufacturers of products looked to create the one perfect product but as the revolutions of the 60s and 70s took place, they realized that they could be more successful by making multiple products for multiple tastes.

For your intellectual pleasure... a perfect example using Prego sauce:

Malcolm Gladwell on spaghetti sauce | Video on TED.com

Right on, Vee! Both points:
  1. Technology: The world of e-cigs reminds me of the personal computer "industry" in the mid/late 70's (prior to the IBM PC, Microsoft or Macintosh): hobbyists and mini-entrepreneurs - and other creative, free-thinking, off-beat people - at the forefront of what may be a revolution. Very exciting and occasionally frustrating.
  2. Diversity: Cable TV (with its 100s of channels) is another example of catering to multiple tastes. And there is a much older example: the automobile industry, ever since Chevy toppled the dominance of the Model T Ford ("any color, as long as it's black"). For economic reasons (and short-sightedness), that industry is streamlining a bit now, but look at all the choices we (and our grandparents) have had. It's surprising that soft drink and spaghetti sauce companies - and all of us* - keep failing to learn from that in-our-face example. [Aren't we all tempted to poo poo styles of e-cig other than our own? Some of us - present company excepted - give in to that temptation.]
* Yeah, I've been looking for the "perfect" e-cig (at least for myself). Instead, I'm beginning to do what most seasoned vapers have done: create a set of PVs to fill my own niches. [I've just ordered a penstyle and lots of blank carts to fill with myriad flavors (many at 0 nicotine) to supplement my KR808D-1 (a smaller selection of flavors in the prefilled cartomizers, all at 11 mg+++ nicotine).]
I just watched that Malcolm Gladwell speech. Fascinating! And I intend to incorporate highlights from it into the Diversity training that I do in my other life (outside of vaping).

Don

Smokefree and vaping for all of 10 days now ... haven't saved any money yet:( ... but having fun:)!

I personally think that e-cigs that look like real cigarettes is partly how we've gotten in the mess we're in with the FDA.

The FDA's reasoning: If it LOOKS like a cigarette, and ACTS like a cigarette, it must BE a cigarette. Therefore, we should have the right to regulate it along with cigarettes.

The "perfect" e-cig to me is anything that least resembles a cigarette.

One could argue the opposite. That if it looks like a pixie stick and tastes like a pixie stick,
then kids will buy it....

I'm new to this and everything and i'm really not quite sure how everyone smokes these things, but I received my PR 110 yesterday around 10am took 4 or 5 hits every 20 minutes until 1am last night when I put it on the charger. Plan to do the same thing today. Don't know if that's good or not, but it sure works for me.

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum.I am a smoker (20 B&H gold per day) and planning to start ecigarrette. But I need to satisfy the following conditions:

1.Extra vapour/Vapour like B&H gold puffings.
2.Ecig looks and holding like cigarrette.
3.Throat hit

Can you please suggest me which would be the best ecigarrette to start with?
When do I have to buy juice/refill/cartridges?As I am quite new,I don't have detailed idea.

I will highly appreciate for your replies.

Many thanks,
Zamil.

I agree dump the analog look, even the light on end. Don't refer to them as cigarette, cause they are not, they are nicotine inhalers. The further away from the tobacco industry PVs can get the better. As far as the perfect device, a atomizer that is not consumable that would last as long as a zippo lighter, and a battery that would last a week. Hope I'm not asking for too much, I just think that what it going to put analogs in the past.

Is there a mod that is:

Not a box looking thingy
Is a 6 volt
Uses 510 attys and carts
Doesnt leak all over the place
Is consistent and reliable
Is good for heavy vaping
And has great customer service

Thats all I want....LOL

Ive got a "Tornado" from TW and I love it....I just want to add a 6 volt to my collection. I almost got a "Chameleon"...glad I didnt since it seems to have not so good reviews and returning it is a pain in the behind.

If you have a great 6 volt mod and love it, I would like to hear about what you have. Input is greatly appreciated! Thanks...happy vaping

A wet dreams paradise.
I use a VP PT and it covers most of your criteria.
One added bonus of a good pass-through is tremendous battery life.
