It actually isn't about the voltage... it is about the wattage you prefer and everyone has different opinions on this...

If you know what ohms you liked on other carto's or clearo's... use that as a place to start with. Since you have a VV mod, you can always increase/decrease the voltage to find your favorite wattage no matter which ohm you select...

The following is a chart I got somewhere on this forum ... from someone I can no longer remember... It may help you

View attachment 105207

The typical Ohm rule...Low Ohm's with low voltage, High Ohm with high voltage, goes right out the window with the Phoenix XL, anyway. Typically I would vape a 2.4 Ohm around 4.0-4.3 Volts. But on a Phoenix, it burns the juice (For me anyway)

I have used on:
ego Batt-GREAT Vape
eGo 18650 MOD-Just starts to get a tiny hint of burnt taste
Buzz Pro II-Great, If cranked all the way down
Provari VV-Below 3.6 I get a E-1 error
Lava Tube-Great at 3.6 and below

I cant wait to see how the 3ml tanks act...My experience and taste will differ than everyone else, I imagine

We'll have pictures but its a complete unit without:

Drip tip
Metal threaded top for cap and also receptacle for drip tip
Sleeves & Cap (but thats why its a replacement!)

What exactly do the 3ml sleeved tank replacement assemblies come with? Do they include the metal ring on the top that holds the drip tip. The way I read it it does not. Mine was stolen by elves or gremlins....:)

Oh, and thanks to my fellow phoenix stalkers too for helping me out. I hate not knowin what the heck I'm doin! lol But I'll get there. Appreciate y'all a lot though. Especially because at the same moment I saw the post that they were live and clicked on them, the phone rang.......then a call beeped in, with two women that I was trying to coordinate a 4 way stamp order with. Yeah, my head was spinnin. I looked just about like zipper's avatar! lol

OK, thread being unhijacked. Back to the topic at hand. :p

I have cleaned some of my bottom coil Phoenixes, and I have one refusing to draw in juice. Every hit is a dry hit, no bubbles after a vape. Taking a hit without firing doesn't help. The only thing that does is to squeeze the tube a bit after every vape. Now I have vaped all the juice out of it, what does it need? Just remove and replace the seal? Fiddle with the air tube? ___???

Well I just ordered some of them new Top Coil Phoenix. Hoping they will replace my Stardusts. The Stardusts did me well as a first time vaper, I even have some going strong after a month! However, the flavor seems inconsistent. And strangely the clear ones I got lasting a month are out performing brand new colored ones that seem to have a burnt taste right out of the box  Hoping these new Top Coils will do the trick. Normally I wait for a second run of a product till the bugs are worked out, but didn't want to wait. I'm a month in vaping, broken even vs. not buying analogs and now that I'm seeing some savings I think I can splurge. Looking for a more satisfying vape now.

I want to check out the 3ml Tank Phoenix, but I'm reading far to many posts about having to mod the wicks ect. Not quite ready for that.
