Thought I'd share a pic of the Aname with a DRA XL2 dripper. I like this dripper a lot. Doesn't look too bad. Wish the trim/ridges on the base were different so would match the Poldiac look better.
IMO there is one problem with the Poldiac = Finding an rda that truly complimemts/does it justice... Unless you're Dspin and don't have that problem.

Well we had 800 people attend and they all showed up at noon when the doors opened.
I looked out the door and saw this line that went on forever!!! Actually, after about 3:00pm it settled down to about 500 and was much more comfortable. Had a blast and met a bunch of great people.
Oh man, that swinging post is great! Brilliant idea me thinks.
I run a vertical mesh wick in it. When wrapping the coil I started with the posts closer together. Then I swung the post back out straight across. It tightened the wrap up a bit and gave the wick a nice diagonal lean /. No hot spots, perfect on the first shot.
I bought it for my fiancé to use. To help her join the vaping revolution. Yesterday she said it wasn't hitting right. I popped the top and the post had been swung counterclockwise. I moved it back straight and !pow! vapor. She and I both were very surprised at the result just from swinging the post back into position.
I'd like a Nimbus but I might just get another DRA. I'll take a couple pics later and add them here. Meanwhile... The star of the show:
I must confess I've had some new toys arrive this past week: The Dingo (w/silver plated spring) and the Paps Lux. As such I havent fired up the Aname for a few days. I woke up this morning with a strong desire for Starbucks and missing my Poldiac. Grabbed a fresh batt, made a small batch of VG mocha/pipe tobacco, filled up Aname # 1431 DID #0800 and headed to Starbucks... My word! Nothing hits quite like MMV - Good morning!

Yeah, we got there about 12:05, and the line was backed up about to the main entrance driveway.. It moved fairly quickly though. We'd have been there earlier, but we ran into some traffic on the way. We had to step outside every little while to cool off.

I know I know... They are like the Walmart/Target of coffee houses... Every time I go I immediately feel guilty... and ya know what - they charge waaaaay too much money for their crummy coffee! Two OK drinks and two small breakfast sandwiches = 20 bux!!! WHAT?!?!?!

I recieved my various Poldiac shirts and pants Friday. I must say I'm VERY impressed, especially with the shipping. 5 days from Greece to Florida from the time I paid. Even the shirts and pants were carefully packed, individually within their own separate blocks of wood. WOW. So without further delay... I present to my fellow Poldi-acs, my new customized edition. I call this one the "SilverCloud SteamPunk"

I hate paying that extra shipping, but I just couldn't pass up not having the 18500 option for my Aname, so I just ordered a battery tube and pants. I love the 18650 for home; but I like the 18500 size factor for out and about.
