ok, so it must be somewhat safe to do this with sub 1.0 ohms and 18350... must be if they're doing it... still, the 500 should be shorter too and get a leeetle more batt time.. i'll try it.

I have 8 18350s that I rotate--been doing this for MONTHS with a sub 1ohm coil. Yes it is pushing the amp limits, but 25+ watts is too awesome, and I like my GGTS in its shortest mode--same reason I bought a 18350 Poldiac. I am rarely in a position where I cannot carry at least one spare 18350. One will last at least me 3 hours of vaping hard every few minutes.

thanks.. for that info... do you use 3 wraps of 28? I pop coils when i tried and for some reason on one of my iHybs i wrapped 4/3 28g and it read like .6 , .7 Ohms (i think my wick is narrower on that one) and ouch its hot...not burnt but i vape is short bursts like 2 lr 3 seconds a time. The vapor can be whooo! if you know what i mean... I like a .9 coil best.

i know BTO stands for built to order, but i don't know what the criteria is....UMA?
THe Cobra/Poldiac really matches well both cosmetically and function!
I ordered my Poldiac UMA about a week ago, still waiting :( Thanks for the pic of the Poldiac with the Cobra, I just got a Cobra and it should look pretty nice on the Poldiac. Anyone know what UMA stands for anyway?

The silver can be polished as someone said... i didnt' get into all the details listed in above posts...

but looks like the UMA edition is the Brass one... the BTO I have is all SS... they're both sweet looking and great functioning imo.
Like Todd said he was going to trade it for a Juggy but changed his mind after thinking about it.

I don't know about these enough to recommend buying one vs another deivice, but I am glad i got mine.

I use a double twisted 32g at around 10-11mm in length in my Ody...after the silver NR wire is connected it meters out to between .5-.7 ohms. I love the heat--I do have to keep my juice control open pretty wide.

Had my poldiac for couple of days already so far loving it, silver contacts not giving any problems although the bottom spring of mine collapsed a little after i accidently shorted my atty, pulled the spring tension back up no problems still firing. The threads for the 510 connection and tube threads do need cleaning every other day, i get light carbon(or oxidation but its black in color) build ups on the threads
that come off easily just by wiping with a tissue.

I'm vaping on my new Poldiac UMA 18500 with a HH357 atty right now. While I cannot see any air channels or holes in the Poldiac, this setup certainly vapes very nice and is not air restricted at all. Just for fun I think I'll try taking the HH357 atty off and replacing with just a standard 510 atty to see if there is any difference in air..

I like the roller as well, but there is just something about the ingenious opposed polarity magnet design of the poldiac button that I really appreciate.

I'm just guessing, if MM decides to do something to add some air canals to the top cap, you can just order up a new top cap and screw it on to the switch...

I don't mind it being fixed length... I doubt I'd ever use it with anything other than 18650's anyway. This isn't a mod I would be taking to work, so a pocketable version isn't really necessary

I too got the 18500 model but ordered the extra 18350 and 18650 tubes. However, I have not yet ordered the extra pants to fit the 2 extra tubes..

I wanted to get the 18350 model, but sadly they were out of stock so settled for the 18500 :( But I am just glad I got one before they went out of stock again

Yes you can buy all the Poldiac parts separate, including the entire button section, assembled. If you have all 3 pants and sleeves you could make 3 Poldiacs in 3 different finishes.

Short review-
I've had my Poldiac for 1 week now and I'm loving it. I like the weight (it's heavy) and beautiful. It has a small outer diameter, approx 27/32" diameter. The machining inside and out is top notch! The threads are very fine and tight (no Chinese wobble), I love the adjustable height 510 positive pin. I've used it with the DID rba, a 510 cartomizer, and a carto tank. I have zero problems with air flow using a carto, hence the height adjustment of the positive pin.
I'm not sure if I like the way the switch lock was designed. It's a very simple process of twisting the shirt to cover the button. My shirt is fully polished and I find it quite difficult at times to twist the shirt, especially if my hands are not completely dry. I would guess that the slotted or ribbed shirt makes grabbing and twisting easier. The twisting of the shirt can also start to unscrew the body tubes. I wish the shirt rode on a delrin o-ring instead of rubber, it would certainly twist easier that way......This is a very small nitpick for a mod that is really terrific.

The Poldiac is so nice I'm afraid of using it as my everyday mod as I've beaten my Silver Bullet to hell from every day use.

It's a great mod, I'm so impressed I may order another!
