Placed my order tonight for a Precious-L. Order #48. Can't wait to give this mod a whirl.

Question: Does the Precious ever need to be polished? Does the nickel plating tarnish? I sure hope it stays shiny with little maintenance......I have too many mods to polish as is. It seems like every other day my other aluminum mods need to be polished to stay shiny and it's getting a little frustrating. If it stays shiny for a long time, I'll be really impressed!

I just googled this, and yes, nickel does oxidize.:cry::cry: Cape Cod polishing cloths will remove it however. Information also states that the brass underneath the nickel will also oxidize and has a tendency to "bubble up" through the nickel.

Ah well, I'm well stocked with polishing supplies anyway. What's one more piece to polish.....right???

Yes you must also remember this is not a smooth polished finish! It will not show finger prints and stuff like my other shiny mods!! Also it has a better grip:evil:

I subscribed to this thread because I think the Precious is simply gorgeous and if I ever get a mod (is that the right term?) this is what I want.

Only thing is, I'm brand spanking new to vaping and don't know a thing about anything except my 901. And I don't even know much about that...

Would someone take pity on me and explain about the batteries and voltages and stuff and why I need a pretty Precious?:)

I happened to luckily buy one off another forum member at a very good price too, he shipped it priority on Tuesday morning. He was so good as to even change the warranty on it to my name ok'd by Caesar. I couldn't believe he didn't get more offers on it.

You snatched it up while I was waiting to hear back from Caesar about the warranty. It wasn't going to last long, but since I already have a Prodigy and a Silver Bullet, I figured I'd put all my ducks in a row before pulling the trigger...alas, I was foiled by my due diligence!

AND YOU!!!
