Col. Gaunt, I am so very sorry to hear that your new Precious is not working:(. As far as I remember, Caesar used to extensively test each and every unit before they went out which was why we (original Precious owners) had to wait a few more days after ordering back in March of 2010.

I would like to think that Caesar would take the same precautions or even more this time around since we all have high expectations after this long wait with constant delays. Hopefully it is just the lack of an instruction manual or something that was missed that is causing this and I really pray that your problem is corrected asap.

If I were Caesar this is what I would do, Skype on camera with you to verify the unit is not working properly, after that is confirmed he should send you a new one using expedited shipping. I think this is only fair and he should even reimburse you for shipping the non working unit back or include an extra juice dispenser as compensation.

Hopefully Caesar will do this because after owning the original Precious, I can truly understand how high your expectations were. One thing that really stands out is that if you own more than 1 mod that uses an 18650 battery, try taking that same battery and atty/carto and see which mod has the most powerful hit. The Precious wins by a huge margin every time as I have tested this many times using the top rated big battery mods and is why I am a believer in the Precious line of mods.

To hear what happened to you puts a knot in my stomach as I await the arrival the mine. I really hope this is just a one time thing that doesn't happen again.:nun:

Aloha, Keith

im thinking that some instructions with the unit would be nice. heck, even instructions online would be nice.

I know sooperdrave, if it were not for my friend cappy, I would still probably be back in square one. Because first of all I did not even know that you had to put the batteries in backwards to get it to work at all! What I mean is, you have to insert the batteries positive button end toward the spring! Did I miss something here? Let alone the correct tapping combination's to get the damn thing to work!

Hey Keith, thank you for your kind words. I still have both my original 18650 and 14500 precious models and yeah, I know what you mean about them being hard hitting comparing them to other single battery mods. My buddy cappy and I were trying to get my LV2 to work for over 1/2 hour over skype. His led would turn red and go into menu mode but mine refused to. I finally had to quit because I was gonna whip the thing across the room!

I just want a LV1 in stainless with the old functions but with the newer spring in the tube. I was happy with the LV1 except for the spring breaking and the nickle coming off. I fell in love with the touch sensor. Maybe with a juice dispenser if others don't leak. LV1 was the perfect sized big battery mod. Just needed an update to stainless and the spring in the tube and it was perfect. I don't know how the rest of you feel.

You didn't insert them wrong and then try to program it did you? Positive has and always be down on any Precious Mods. I can see where one might get confused because of the spring placement this time.

No, the batteries were inserted correctly when I tried to program it. Positive side down.

I received an e-mail from Mark and he said to contact him on skype so he could help me with it. Well, I am at work now so I will have to see if i can contact him when I get home.

I have forgotten to mention the feed tank on the LV2. Basically all it is is a metal tank with a hole in the bottom that drips down into the level of the atty connector! So much for a high tech feed system.

Oh well, if I can get this LV2 to work I will be happy but i think it will be the last precious I will buy. I am pretty upset. Yes they hit pretty good for single battery mods but with the problems that the 1st gen had with turning themselves on when in contact with moisture and now this tap tap crap, even though I spoke up for them, I am truly disappointed.

That's what i expected! Nothing really more than a AVS. Were you expecting more? Some people just can't seem to work them. I have no problems with my GGTS/AVS set ups.

TRue moisture would trigger the switch. On the LV1 some times. And i needed to simply wipe it off.Was it worry some ? Yes I fried a few attys! The LV2 will not let that happen. It has a protection circuit built in. I hope you get the tap a crap down soon! 2 others i know of are having no issues ATM. Hope it all works out COL!

Wow. Now I have second thoughts. Hoping for the best here. Hope you get things worked out Col. I'll be happy to find a use for all those 18350s I have here from my SDMkII... but hopefully no leaking and a working P-LV2. I am curious as to what the PV looks like without the JD, cause honestly I didn't even want the JD.

Picked it up from the P.O. Im not having an issue getting in and out of the menu. Sorry about your troubles Col.

This thing is LIGHT compared to the original. Way light.

It had a sticker on the inside of the top cap of the tank. Sort of like a paper label used to protect the aluminum during machining? Peeled off OK.

The learning curve is all about the timing of the finger presses. Took about 10 minutes to get it down. I can see having trouble with it after a few drinks, but I heard you should drink and VV :)

I am going to use it dripping for a while with an HV atty. Got the volts at 5.3 right now and it is vaping like a champ using 2x AW 16340. There should be some 18350's in my mailbox when I get home tonight which will be nice.

If you've got any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
