Hey KIETH. I feel your pain. I have family in HI and over the last 5 years have gone there a lot for my job, so have had some oppurtunity to see the cost of living there. I guess you are aware of the housing deals for Hawaiins also, but guess you aren't eligible.

Yes, I would like the new version of the Precious (without juice feeder in SS). Back in August I was told I could get a -U, because they were already made... then crickets. I haven't had a response to 3 emails now over the last few months. So I am not really upset, but just decided to move on and get a ProVari. Hopefully I like that as much or more then my Precious, but I already know it is going to be large compared to it. All other big batt mods are. My -V1 works great with a MAP tank on it, because it is short in comparison to the P18. On the P18, the map tank just adds way to much length to it.

JR,
that housing deal is called "Hawaiian homelands" and is strictly for native Hawaiian people who are of at least 50% Hawaiian blood. They get land and or housing for $1 per year and can do what ever they want with it. Unfortunately I am 5th generation Hawaii born and raised, but of asian ethnicity:laugh:.

I also prefer the stainless steel version over the aluminum even if that means no juice dispenser, then again my curiosity will probably force me to buy one each:laugh:. The long periods of silence used to be disappointing at first, but I then realized that no matter what we say or do, nothing is going to make Caesar work any faster. So, I decided to just let it run it's course and see what becomes of this situation.

Oooh, JR, I just got my new Reo Grand today.:) Not only does it look good but is also very well made and compact. The bottom fed design hasn't spilled a single drop of liquid even when I over saturate a carto. Going to do a small initial review in a few days on Nu-Vapor, if you don't already have one, I highly recommend one.

Aloha, Keith

Keith, re the "deal"... also, if you are a child of a 50% Haw'n, and less than 25%, after investing in a homestead, your parents die, and you are kicked off. some deal eh?

I like the bottom fed "gravity feed" Phidias myself... best 3.7 vape out there imo..

with my Provari, i wouldn't know what i'm missing with the Precious.
aloha

Howzit Ukeman,:) Yea I know about that unfortunate rule, my dad worked for the dept. of Hawaiian Homelands division all his life until he retired just a few years ago. I have a lot of friends who are in that exact same predicament now, many of who built homes on Molokai. Many times my dad would get frustrated at the stupid rules and the slow processes of the "system" but he did what he could to get as many Hawaiians as possible into what was rightfully theirs.

Even till today, the many people my dad helped still welcome us to fish on their beach front property on Molokai, they even lend us their cars while we are there. This is what makes the Hawaii people unique and gives meaning to the phrase we like to call "The Aloha Spirit"

yah KEITH but you have 3 no fair :p All joking aside he should at least make another update. It's 2011

Hiya Jay, yea I have a few, but they are out on loan right now and have been for many months.
One of them is about a four thousands of miles away from me traveling person to person slowly making its way across the United States. See, I share my toys:laugh:.

If I get another Reo Grand like I am expecting, I plan to "share the spare" in the same way. One can only use one mod at a time right?

Auriiight Ukeman:), Nice to meet another Hawaii braddah on here. If I ever get the chance to get off this island and go to Kauai, I will surely let you know before hand. I will bring my Precious along with my entire stash of AveJuice for you to try so, "get the opihi ready".

ps, we have pretty much zero opihi here on Oahu, so sad eh?

Aloha, Keith
