@ Train or Kiwi or anyone else knowledgable about builds.

I've got 30 gauge kanthal, the Russian 91s and 2mm silica coming this week.

If I want to vape somewhere in the 2 ohm range, how many wraps should I make on the coil? I'm assuming 8 to 10 but do more coils make for higher ohms or vice-versa? I'm assuming I can test the ohms on my MVP 2 but any tips are appreciated!

Assuming you're wrapping around a 2mm or 5/64 drill bit, I would suggest wrapping 8 wraps, and then deliberately leaving approx 1.5 inch of kanthal on one end. Mount it, and check ohms. I'm pretty sure at 2mm inner diameter and 30ga, 8 wraps should get you very close to 2ohms. If it's lower, unmount the coil, and use the extra long lead to wrap 1 or 2 more wraps and remount. (That's what the extra long lead is for. Let's you add more wraps if necessary.) hope that helps!

Btw in case this isn't clear, this is what I meant by mounting the coil with an extra long lead on one end. You wanna make sure you mount the coil as per usual, and leave the excess leads out of the circuit. This is what I always do when I'm trying out a new wire or a new diameter coil

you need to post a high-resolution version somewhere - there's so much going on, and we can't tell what the heck half of it IS!

I have a bigger one but waiting till I am done. I should of added me last instead of working around me lol

Getting that water between my legs was tricky.

Northern California - coffee shops everywhere...
You drive pizza?
I had an entire past life working in pizza - from delivering to owning a place...
Yeah *sigh*... Currently delivering pizza. I actually don't mind the job too much (outside of the cleaning) but it's wreaking havoc on my poor car. It's pothole and hill city up over here. I need a new job by the time winter rolls back around. This last winter was dead... Made very little money... not to mention that working/driving in snow BLOWS
