I reaaaaaally need to start using my laptop to check out ECF. I never get what all these banners look like.

If you get really bored, you can cruise the suppliers section and enter contests. I used to do it all the time and have won all kinds of goodies.

I always for the get to add what I am using. The current set up is a Taifun in Dripper mode. The holes are adjustable, you can make it one hole or two and then vary the size of those holes by turning the cap. Wicking is cotton.

The first set up was a single coil, 30g about 1.5 both holes open full (it has to be at least 1/16 each hole)

The current is dual, 30g about 1.1 and one hole only open full.

Both set ups really did the same thing. I can take long............full drags and get a ton of vapor and a lot of flavor BUT I have to take long full drags. As compared to say, the Fogger. Better flavor with the dripper but a much longer drag.

The Provari won't let me go higher than 3.5 volts without an error.

I thought it was just taking too long to heat up and that is why I have to take such long hits. I also need to "warm it up a bit" before it performs.

EDIT: the air holes are high on the Taifun Dripper. The well is deep too and will hold a lot of juice. Although the coils are high, I don't think they are in line or could be without really long legs.

That's too low. I wonder why mine is at 3.9v @ 1.1 ohm, with no issues...

You need a bit more power to get it to heat up quicker.

Drummer - is it a 2.5?
Older models had lower limits...

Both are 2.5's. I had asked about this error before but like I said, it shoots an E1 or E2 error when I go higher. I back it down and it fires just fine.

Does it need to be cleaned, do I have a problem with a coil somewhere? I thought it was normal based off of the amp limit but maybe it isn't if you have a 1.1 and it fires at 3.9

If you're looking for just the glass, spectrum makes them.
Spectrum Tanks - Home

If you want the kit, I bought mine here:
Kayfun Quartz Nano Kit $26.50 - VividSmoke.com

Mine came yesterday and I love it. It only holds about 1.5 ml but that works for me since I like changing flavors a lot.

Live well, Love hard, Laugh often & Vape on!

Did the Spectrum tube fit your nano kit? Spectrum says the tubes fit the Tarsius nano kit. Tarsius and SoV were the first quartz nano kits I read about and they were different from each other, but I'm not sure in what way. I don't know which (if either) the Rainbow Heaven is like.

I have noticed if my coils are imbalanced (ohms are a bit off) that I get the error message sooner.

When you fire it, does one side heat up faster than the other?

Actually, I have heard that the ProVari reads ohms more precisely than it reports on the display.

my 1.1 and your 1.1 may be quite a bit different. If it is 1.14 ohms on mine, and yours is 1.05 ohms, that could account for the difference...

But it is accurate that the amp limit will kick in a give me the E2 until I kick it down? I don't remember what the meter read before I wicked it exactly..........I just check them again once they are on the Vari.

.4 volts seems like a high number for less than .09 in resistance

EDIT

Ever so slightly.

What is the best way to make balanced coils without mounting one, testing........removing it......mounting the other.........testing it and then mounting the second?

Yes. I always cut the legs long on the coils so I can vary the length to the post for them to match them perfectly. You need both coils pulling equally...very important.

I ran out of alcohol a long time ago!
So, does anybody know if you can rebuild a Diver V2 w/ only Resistance Wire instead of NR-R-NR.
Any disadvantage if you do?

I know it's not recommended on the Sophia. NR wire does not heat like Kanthal does. That's not the entire answer, but all I remember at this moment.

My current set up is a dual coil IGO T with 1.1 total resistance (30 gauge K wire) and cotton. Set at about 4 volts it makes a nice flavorful vape that responds very quickly. I drilled out the airholes to 1/16".

What are you set up on currently?

What's on your eVic?
