Here is an update on the fill ports. I recieved my prototype today and its not working...Its actaully leaking before I can get the screw back in. Cuse and I are going to work on this all weekend...Im rtpetty sure I have figured out the issue with the few people that have had leaking issues but I want to give it 48 hours or so before I go patting myself on the back...
Thanks for your patience.
Drew

Hoping to hear something for the "few people that have the leaking issues". I'm checking back often. LOL

Well I have had 3 that have contacted me by email and/or returned that I have figured them out , but am waiting until the final run of the new tanks come in before I send their ones back...
I have found that with some devices and filling methods these will leak a little and apparently the once they start they continue. These "work' on siphon and they can push liquid out the same way they get it in. The filling method is really important... I'm gonna do a video right now rather than try and explain it...Thanks
Drew

My question is to Drew. While I don't have a leaking problem. I fill mine differently though. When I put the cap on I put it on till the edge of the o ring and tip the tank on its side and line the air bubble up with the hole in the atty. that way when I press the cap on it forces air into the atty not juice. Seems to work every time. I do however get lots of dry hits even with the dry pulls and doing the quick in out pull to make sure it's not vapor locked. Any other ideas to get it wicking properly?

That is sort of the point I "tried" to make in the first video... I have primed one or two attys with a drop or two directly into the atty and it has helped...The other thing is that this is a dual coil atty with an over and under coil configuration so I also tip it sometimes after taking dry pulls to saturate the upper cup and that also helps sometimes. Thanks,
Drew

Thanks for the quick response. I've been slowly learning the tank and just wanted to speed up the learning curve. I'll try your suggestions. When it's wicking properly it hits like a dream. While I do love my carto tanks I'm an atty man at heart. Do the new attys wick any better than the ones now? Just curious. Thanks again for all the help.
