I've been reading alot about the provari on here and watched a few reviews and overall the provari clearly seems to be superiors to all other mods. What really sets it apart from some oIf its competitors.

I currently have an evic and am looking to try something else. I'm still looking for the features of the provari that (for the most part) make it the Cadillac of PVs. Wanted to hear all your thoughts...

Build quality.

Made in USA (if that matters to you).

Smoother pulse width modulation.

Build quality.

Do these things make it worth the price? Obviously that is subjective. To many, yes it does. I just bought a mini for my gf. The price is outrageous in my opinion but I don't regret paying it when I imagine she'll be able to use this thing for decades, whereas I have no doubt all the eGo batteries she paid more for (collectively, she has 9 of various sizes) will be pushing up daisies within a year or three.

It's a luxury purchase, plain and simple. Anyone can live and vape happily without a provari, but to some it is a justifiable purchase.

The real benefits of a Vari have not been mentioned.

You buy anything else and it dies after the warranty period you are done.

Kill the chip - replaced for $25
Somehow kill the tube - fixed $45

ProVape support their customers old and new.

Have had up to 4 of them but have whittled that down to just my first one. Simply put just never selling it. Don't have to I have ProVapes excellent support.

Truth to be told the current line up needs a refresh of technology to include setting by watts but mine just keeps rolling and I am not exactly caring of the beast!

For me, the real benefit was that I could watch a bunch of youtube videos and marvel at what others had, but not feel the slightest green. The downside to me having a ProVari is that I (and this only means "I") don't need anything else. But it would be cool to have more.

Jokes aside, the ProVari's real benefit for me is the consistency, build quality, accuracy, warranty, ease of use, and feel of it in my hand!

Build quality and durability.

I have put my provari through more abuse than would have killed any $50 mod 10 times over. I have carried it on a daily basis in very rough work environments, dropped it on concrete dozens of times, and even thrown it at the cat. It is built like a tank and is virtually indestructible.

Best device I've tried and I've tried more than a few and always have it with me when I'm driving my cadillac.

Yup, I've had 3,but just sold 1:-( lol..the 1 that I sold though, has truly been my workhorse pv for 13 months straight. It has been to work everyday with me, and just been drenched in the rain, sweat, even bit the concrete a couple of times anyways and has always just fired right. Now, I did make sure clean it thoroughly at least once a week, since it did suffer so much abuse at work. But it has always been the device I trusted to take with me and knew it wouldn't die on me.

I have owned and still do own to some extent mods that are finicky and work great sometimes, but not all the time. Clear and simple, the Provari just works and works very well. True it doesn't have the newer technologies that u can find n other mods for cheaper even, but honestly when u start putting all these lcd screens and adjustable voltage & wattage, honestly I think it's just more stuff to break quicker. I don't know how many vamo's I've seen in the classies with dead screens on them. True, I do feel that the Provari does need something, but for me, I just wish they would give it like at least a 5amp, but more like 10amp limit, instead of the 3.5 limit it currently has.

SORRY for being so long winded, obviously I do like the provari :)

Folks you can all go on as much as you want about why a Provari is the greatest thing since sliced bread but the fact remains that there are a whole lot of us out here in e-cig land that simply don't have the money to splurge on one... It may very well be the best in the World, and it is US made, but still money is money and most of us have to get what we can get at a price we can afford...

Nobody is making you read the thread. Trust me, there are a lot of things out there more expensive than the ProVari and a whole lot that is cheaper. When it comes down to it, at some point you have to pay to play. Whether you pay a little or a lot, you have to pay.

This is just a thread like any other. The threads that I don't want to read because I am not included in the audience, well, I just don't read.

If you don't have the money for a ProVari, then so be it. I don't have the money for many things, but I don't want others to stop talking about it.

It's cool.

It's okay.

It's a forum.

You have a place too.

Get in where it feels comfy.

Stay out of where it feels un-comfy.

I don't understand the Provari cost complaints.
When I smoked I spent an average of $4120 per year on cigarettes.
To me buying a Provari seems inexpensive in comparison.

If a person had enough money to 'splurge' on a pack of cigarettes per day it wouldn't take long for that to equal the cost of a Provari.
