By the way Sandy, don't ever use the phrase "rooting your phone" down here. In fact the word "rooting" as Americans use it, like cheering on a team, is a bad idea. In Australia it is a slang word to refer to, um, the marital act :D I regret to say that I was the .... of many jokes before I figured that out

Haha!
I didn't know that about Australia slang!

So, the classic 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' would be a 'no-no'?
Or, at least imply you REALLY support the home team!!

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win, it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.

Bill 100% agree with you, if someone is happy vaping with blue foam like you say theres no reason to look for something else just because others claims etc; thats why i liked when pbusardo made hes odysseus review to state that just because he went and bought one doesnt mean you should too.

Anyway not going to hijack the thread lol :D passer if you need any help pm anytime mate.

Roxette, don't worry about hijacking - I think everyone here would agree that your knowledge is very much appreciated. Well, that's speaking for myself -- Bill, do you mind?

And speaking of blue foam, has anyone with aches and pains tried Blue-Emu? That stuff is the shiznit.

No, I don't mind at all (of course). Pretty much anything is fair game on the thread, from schmoozing through info sharing to joke telling. Every so often we need to add some content about RY4, but we always get back to that.

OK, speaking of slang, now I'm just amused by the thought of sandybeach - that grower of glorious flowers and healthful herbs - saying 'shiznit.'

Oh yes, lettucehead, our Ms. Sandy is quite the paradoxical human: a delicate flower herself, kind and compassionate, sensitive and refined. And she can also curse like a sailor and get down and dirty with the best of them. (I was going to write, 'like a pig rooting for truffles,' but that would be ill-advised on multiple levels...)

So I sent off for COV4 and I will see which I like better between that and Jammin because it is really sweet also...then stock up :D

Vapor4Life seems to have four RY4-like juices: RY4 Nobacco (with "notes of chocolate and coffee" no less), RY4 Twist Nobacco (with mango and pear), RY4 Wow Vapor, and Jammin Nobacco.

The description for Jammin reads:

"Treat and tame your sweet tooth with this perfectly balanced juggling act of mild, sweet tobacco and other sweet undertones. Visions of sugar plums may dance in your head, but vaping sensations of vanilla and caramel will twirl your tastebuds in delicious, dessert-like ecstasy."

Of those, only the RY4 Wow seems close to a standard RY4 flavor profile. But then, COV4 isn't exactly standard, either.

I'll bet Jammin Nobacco is sweeter than COV4. Just a hunch. I'd also guess that the tobacco in COV4 will be better.

Good luck, passer! I hope at least one of them pleases you.

Speaking of COV, at the one and only vape meet I ever went to, I was fortunate to meet Bruce, the owner of Clouds of Vaping. Three weeks into vaping, and nothing tasted like anything. Bruce let me try his Reo and sold me a few of his juices which still didn't taste like much -- my taste buds were just dead at that point. Bruce showed me how to clean an atty with PG. What an awesomely nice guy!

Veering off topic again...

I'm in a hotel room in Sydney, and they gave me a room on the smoking floor (because they remember that I always used to request one...haven't needed it for eight months now). The flight crews from Garuda Indonesia stay on this floor too, and can I just say that the smell of Kretek clove cigarettes wafting through the air is just GLORIOUS.

I hate the taste of them though. One puff of a Kretek was enough to put me off them forever. Ouch those things hurt my throat.

Back on topic...I just loaded my Reo Mini with some W2V Rock Star. Have I mentioned lately how awesome this is? My first thought every time I inhale is "apple" even though it tastes nothing like apple. I think it's just the winey, sparkling crispness of the top notes that makes me think that. In any case, it is certainly in my top 5 of current RY4s. Definitely leaning toward the "Oriental" end of the RY4 spectrum.

Jammin is sweeter then COV4 and I do like the Jammin better, I really do not taste anything extra in Jammin its actually a good mix and the tobacco is surprisingly tasty, if there is extra stuff in there it is hidden good, Jammin reminds me of the Janty line just super sweet with less sour. The RY4 WOW is much settled down version of Jammin but it has that signature V4L taste to it which gets old to me fast.

So back to COV4 I was kinda surprised when I started vaping this juice becuz I kept thinking it reminded me of something then a about a minute it hit me.... RW Vapors RY5, these two are close I mean 95% close, I forgot my COV4 today so I just added some RY5 to my cartos and I really taste no change and plus they both make me cough which is odd like its the same juice, I am not saying it is but it is very very close.

Speaking of coffee for some reason there are many RY4s that have a taste of coffee to me, it may be the dark sweetness like coffee with sugar that triggers the senses.

You know Bill with all the things aside RY4 is just awesome, just the idea of a caramel and vanilla with tobacco vape is legendary, these are good times for RY4 and these vendors can keep bringing them on for all I care. RY4 is a staple in its own.

Here is a question for Bill or anybody. Does KickBassVapor's RY4 have any maple in it? Not like MtBakerVapor's RY4, but more subtle?

I was vaping some GJ4 for a few days, then switched to KBV's RY4. It may just be the change in caramel flavor, but I get hints of maple. Anyone else?

dude,

I just grabbed my carto of KBV RY4 and toked a bit. There's something, not quite maple-y, but definitely non-standard connected to the sweetness. Might be a by-product of the interaction between the caramel and vanilla, especially if KBV is using more than one flavoring of each.

Whatever it is, GJ4 doesn't have it. GJ4 is straightforward right down the line. It's the tobacco in GJ4 that's special; the caramel and vanilla play it very straight. By contrast, all of KBV's tobacco blends seem slightly unusual to me in flavor. Might have to do with the signature base tone of most KBV juices. That tone isn't jarring to me, as Halo's base can sometimes be, but it's instantly recognizable.

I like both these RY4s quite a bit---GJ4 is often in my Top 10, and KBV has spent time there too---but at least I can tell you that you're not crazy. Something is different, and it comes from the KBV.
