Gandalf and Serendipity are the "jewels" of the Heather's Heavenly Vapes line. Serendipity is currently sitting pretty as my number-one flavor. Who knows if, like Bill, my passion will cool. But it is really great. Sandy, I think you will like them. Their Heavenly RY4 is fab as well.
Not for nothing, but their samples are reasonably priced and their 30ml bottles are only $12.99.

:( I am making myself go on a strict budget - no spending on vaping stuff for at least a month :( :( :(

Sandy, a tip: IF you're going to blow your budget, ditch the House Blend and place a HHV order. Just my:2c:

Sandy, I agree with Scarf. If you're gonna break a promise to yourself that you can't keep, get some Gandalf. That'll put you squarely in the loop of what's hot.

Actually I recommended it because I think HHVs stuff is very, very good. The "hotness" factor is merely an unintended side effect;) Nobody will ever accuse me of being au courant. LOL

Sarcasm is almost impossible to get in text.

Agreed. Any reader would have to know me pretty well to see the obvious sarcasm of that last sentence, since in real life I am obsessively individualistic and not a trendy camp follower. Not that I don't know what's hot and what's not in the particular worlds I inhabit as an alien visitor, but I react with disdain to the thought of being a lemming.

So, would you guys please describe the taste of Gandalf, or compare it to something?

Gandalf falls under the general heading of a tobacco and candy blend, in this case a kid's Halloween bag of many different candies rolled up inside a tobacco vape.

And the other HHV juices, please?

No. How much work do you expect from me? Just buy whatever teases your fancy after reading reviews and the HHV descriptions. (I know, that's not how you work... LOL.)

Maybe this will get me off my fixation on a certain vendor's juices that I refuse to do business with anymore because he was a *$&#.

I doubt that. I like a whole lot of juices and encounter more that I love each passing season. With a few notable exceptions in the RY4 realm---FSUSA and BWB RY4, for instance, which I loved early on but then stopped loving after vaping many other RY4s that pleased my palate more---new infatuations these days don't cause me to stop loving juices that are already faves. Overall, where eliquids are concerned, I'm now a confirmed polygamist. I just add more suites onto my Beloved Juices Hotel.

On the other hand, I'm not fixated on any specific juices, so perhaps Gandalf might crack your fixation. (Shakes head slowly after thinking for a second.) Nah, Gandalf isn't close enough in flavor profile to the juices in question to do that trick.

I love that you called yourself an alien visitor ;)
And you know me too well, you are so correct.

Scarfy messaged me that she likes Serendipity, so I'll try that one along with Gandalf.
What's everyone's favorites at Heather's?

Ooh, I see that one of my local vendors has come out with a "Limited Edition" RY4:

RY4-LE | Vapebar Limited Edition Release | eJuice Doubler

I'll give it a try and report back.

Yes, by all means let us know.

Though he hasn't posted on the thread for quite awhile, Zombitedesade was for a long time our Official British Correspondent for all things RY4 in England. I guess that makes you our Australian Ambassador, scarfy.

I'm wondering if any of the fine participants here have done either of the following in a basic or simple sense...

Created a good DIY RY4 from combining a commercial vanilla ejuice, a caramel ejuice and a tobacco ejuice.

Created a good DIY RY4 from combining a commercial vanilla flavoring, a caramel flavoring and a tobacco flavoring +/- minor addins.

Cool,

No and no. And---believe me---I've tried more times than I can remember or care to admit. Only one approach has worked for me with DIY RY4: premixed RY4 flavoring concentrates. The best I've tried are want2vape RY4 concentrate and TheFlavorApprentice RY4 Double. Behind those two come three others on the second tier: TFA Asian and the two EcigExpress/Tobacco Express flavoring concentrates (Ruyan 4 and RY4), which are not as good (to me), but worth having on hand.

I just got some FlavourArt RY4 concentrate and whipped up a 10ml bottle of that, but it wasn't very good fresh. It's now sitting in one of my kitchen cabinets undergoing a couple weeks of open-bottle steeping. I'll try it after another week or so to see if steeping improves the flavor profile and/or balance.

But making good RY4 either from scratch or as a Frankenjuice? Fuhgeddaboudit! If you're like me, you'll just end up wasting lots of juice, flavorings, and liquid nic base. I'm not particularly surprised when I vape retail RY4s that are, shall we say, less than wonderful (heck, I can do that myself), but it's a complete mystery to me how the really superlative and wonderful RY4s are created.

I can attest to Bill's assessment of W2V and TFA RY4. Bill sent me samples of both and they are very good. Both are in my daily rotation now and are getting more than their fair share of my vaping. W2V reminds me of Prime Vaping's PV4 and TFA is similar to Apollo. Both are better than Appolo and PV4 to me though YMMV.

Breeze I have not made a GOOD RY4 but I'm made a few awful ones:)

TastyVapor has a make-your-own option to combine any 3 flavors. I use it to create cheesecake blends. Next time I order I will try tobacco+caramel+vanilla. It's a naturally extracted tobacco, too.
