DoubleHelix, I so very agree. Gandalf (or Serendipity, as the extra-strength version is called) is a stunner. Goes with coffee. Goes with tea. Goes with the chicken sandwich and coke I am lunching on right now. I ordered 10 HHV liquids and 9 are awesomely good.

Gandalf is amazing! Just got a fresh new bottle, and just dripped Heavenly for the first time in an io6, and it is awesome. HHV just has amazed me so far. Dragon's Fire is also quite nice, but Gandalf is just plain and simply an all day vape.

I started off having a hot love affair with Gandalf back in June. Bought Dragon's Fire in July and was initially a bit perplexed (I kept tasting banana in it, but I knew it had no banana flavoring in the recipe mix). Now, one season later, my passion for Gandalf has cooled, and we are "just good friends," while I have warmed to Dragon's Fire (steeping morphed whatever my brain interpreted as banana into "something else). I'm still not totally infatuated with Dragon's Fire, but I like it as much as I like Gandalf.

As for Heavenly tobacco, here's part of the ad copy from the HHV product page:

"Why did we change the name from Heavenly RY4? Customers have raved about our new take on the traditional RY4, but it is more rich and complex than any RY4 on the market, so we decided to rename it Heavenly tobacco."
As often happens, I take issue with the vendor's copy (when it feels to me like hype in hawking a product). "More rich and complex than any RY4 on the market?" Well, I agree that Heavenly Tobacco is rich and complex, but "more than any RY4 on the market" sticks in my craw as unfounded and probably uninformed, since I seriously doubt that anyone at HHV has vaped as many RY4s as I have. Of course HHV has a right to their opinion, but the description isn't offered as opinion, but as fact (which it's definitely not). In fairness, many vendors do this (offering opinions that masquerade as facts), but that's advertising mantra for you: always claim that your product is better than anyone else's.

All six of the HHV tobacco blends I've tried are good---in my opinion---and I gave Heavenly Tobacco a grade of B+ on the most recent Big RY4 Report Card, which puts it in the Top 33. Not too shabby to be in the top third. It's not among my personal favorite RY4s, however. YMMV, of course.

Speaking of hot love affairs Bill, still smitten with VK4? I'm ordering at least 4 bottles next week for you, Passerbye, OnTarget and Sandy. Anyone else want in?

Smitten doesn't even begin to describe the depth of my infatuation with VK4. Yes, by all means, get a 15ml doubler for me.

Hmm, ToweKnee. Sounds like i'm being a little too careful with the RY4. FA are always strong flavors and i couldn't find a reference on this one. I will try the next batch on 8% like you suggest. Tastes like it could have a double dose. Thanks.

Are you coming to the Netherlands for the Hangsens or shall i come to you? :)

My second attempt i used 6%. After 1 week of steeping i tried it today. It doesn't taste as the first batch did, not at all. It lost the nutty undertone, the vanilla is more present though as well as the caramel. Tobacco taste is very light.
Personally i liked the nutty undertone and i'm also more in favor of a stronger tobacco taste.
Next time i will go up to 8%.

Vappa and ToweKnee,

I just ordered a 10ml bottle of FlavourArt pre-mixed RY4 flavoring concentrate from Liberty-Flights, along with some other FA flavorings. When I get it and mix up a batch, I'll report back.

I'm very curious to your experience with this one. Did you get it already?

Well today I mixed some of my FA Ry4 with some 7 leaves I had mixed. Awesome !! I mixed 7 leaves at 2% and when mixed it loses some of its luster. I think If i raised the 7L up a bit more when mixing the Ry4 with it I might be a little more happy. I also tried some DK Tab mixed with some TPA Caramel and FA Nutty Mix. Was very good but i think too much caramel with the nut mix almost made it taste like peanut butter. Even mixed some of that with 7 leaves and was very good. I also mixed the DK Tab at 2% but I think its much better around 1%.

Never had this VK4 is it that good?

Vappa I think give it a month of good steeping and you will be even more happy. I know how hard it is to wait but its so worth it. I really think this stuff needs to sit around 3 - 4 weeks to really get the best flavor out of it.

Toweknee, I'm sending a mass care package of VK4 to the USA. If you want some just send your address via PM.

CoolBreeze, kindly send me your address.

Lettucehead? Roxxette? Ogredog, if anyone knows where he is?

You are so thoughtful, scarf!!

I'm going to pass this time - of course, I'm going to regret it when you guys are all in swoons of ecstasy...

Ah, well!

What is Gandalf? I scrolled back a few pages and couldn't find anything, just to let y'all know I did my due diligence.

I don't taste banana in CC House Blend, it has something sweet, maybe cake? It is one of my all day vapes.

Yeah, I thought I remembered it tasting like yummy cake. I wonder if I got an off batch. I don't want to say anything to Copper Creek cuz it was a small order, only two bottles, so I don't want to be a p.i.t.a.

It's interesting that you say that because I just swapped a 6ml sample bottle that I was feeling kinda of 'Meh' about.
I had heard so many awesome things about it, but the flavor just wasn't there for me.
It was a little cake, a little tobacco, a little sweetness, but the juice just didn't coalesce into a coherent whole for me.

Maybe there was an off batch?

Hmm, I wonder. I had ordered 12 mg. last time, and now use 6 mg., so I ordered both 12 mg. and 6 mg. They both taste faintly like banana, not coherent, like you said. No vanilla at all, a bit of tobacco.

Gandalf and Serendipity are the "jewels" of the Heather's Heavenly Vapes line. Serendipity is currently sitting pretty as my number-one flavor. Who knows if, like Bill, my passion will cool. But it is really great. Sandy, I think you will like them. Their Heavenly RY4 is fab as well.
Not for nothing, but their samples are reasonably priced and their 30ml bottles are only $12.99.
