Ahlusion has a couple options for a vanilla NET. The first is Vecchio Blend, offered in the same non-aromatic line as Gold Rising. I haven't had it yet but the tobacco will probably be at around the same strength as GR. They also have Vurley in the aromatic line, which I have had and is amazing. It's a stronger tobacco as all in their aro line, but not as intense as others in that line. Vanilla beans are added with the tobacco during the extraction, and it's a fairly strong and tasty vanilla.

Jerms, thanks for the feedback! I think Vurley is what Bill commented about once upon a time. I will have to give it go and maybe even try a small sample of Vecchio Blend.

Thanks, Jerms. Nice description.

I have both and would add that Vecchio Blend (the non-aromatic NET hybrid) makes my brain say, "Ah yes, tobacco and vanilla. Two flavors. Yum." By contrast, Vurley (the aromatic NET using Burley tobacco infused with vanilla beans during maceration) makes my brain say, "Wow, whatever this is, it's a completely unique single flavor. Not two flavors, but one."

In other words, Vecchio Blend, while very well made, is in the same general ball park as many other Vanilla Tobacco blends, except for the subtlety of the vanilla (if you choose the stronger tobacco option, as I did) and the more authentic-tasting NET. Vurley, on the other hand, is like nothing else out there. Completely unique. I'd go so far as to suggest that Vurley is not a flavor that most people will instantly appreciate or love. Instead, it's something of an acquired taste, but one that's definitely worth acquiring.

On Target,

If you want something instantly recognizable and immediately likable, get Vecchio Blend (with the stronger tobacco option).

If you want something amazing that will blow your mind and stretch your palate, get Vurley.

Ahlusion has had a longstanding offer that was still good as of my last order in February: put $20 worth of juices in your cart, and you get a free 10ml juice (anything they make except aromatic tobaccos). So, if you order a 30ml bottle of Vurley and a 10ml bottle of Vecchio Blend, then use the coupon code "VAPING-MAG-11" for 15% off, that should put you just over $20. Then in the notes you can ask for a 10ml bottle of a third juice. Be sure to specify nic level and base blend, if applicable. Shipping is cheap.

Tribeca is an RY4? It's in my daily rotation of juices. Never knew it was an RY4, but it gets an A- on your list.

On Target said it perfectly. Not only is Halo Tribeca a bonafide Classic RY4, but it's right up there with the very best.

For whatever it's worth, I have removed my loaded carto of Ahlusion Gold Rising from the RY4 ammo box holder #1 that sits on my desk (I have two RY4 ammo boxes that each hold 50 cartos, sorted alphabetically by vendor: A-thru-L and M-thru-Z) and placed it into my third ammo box carto holder, the one I use to store all my spare-but-at-the-ready carto-loaded juices that are not RY4s.

I will also remove Gold Rising from The Big RY4 List, Category Groups, and RY4 Report Card for all future updates.

Sorry, Ahlusion, you made a very interesting juice, and you can call it whatever you like, but I'm afraid you can't play on our team without caramel and vanilla.

I'm presently vaping some TPA RY4-Double with a little AP in it. ...can't say it is along the lines of RY4.

Have you ever tried Halo Tribecca ? ;)

I've not tried Halo Tribecca but have had some Prime 15. I think AP is along the lines of DK TAB.

Tribeca has slowly moved up my rotation. I am now satisfied with Tribeca and Tobacco Haze. Tribeca does remind me of TFA ry4 Double. I haven't done a side by side, but may mix up a batch tonight.

Sandy, if you like Tribeca, you might try Janty, Apollo, or TFA's RY4 Double. Bill could probably give you a few others that have the same high-note sweetness.

So has Tribeca changed? Can I still call it a sausage vape? hehehe

I used to be one of those who could not vape Tribeca. I would rather huff bug spray.
About a year ago, Tribeca lost the lysol flavoring (some may say it was sage). Now, after a month or so steeping it has a very clean and tasty flavor.
Even fresh, there is no longer a nasty background flavor (but it still takes a month to reach the A- grade Bill gives it).

I know many people love the "purity" base that Halo uses, but as one for whom that base tastes like bad hospital disinfectant smells, I rejoiced when Halo unexpectedly stopped using it in Tribeca and Turkish Tobacco. I agree with the hangdude that steeping is still a prerequisite, but now it takes only one month rather than eight.

Once steeped, Tribeca is a delicious RY4, although PMMV (Passerbyeus' mileage may vary).

I can just see Passer shouting "No more sausage!" the way Faye Dunaway playing Joan Crawford screamed "No more wire hangers!" in Mommie Dearest. LOL. (j/k, passer.)

Thanks, dude.

For the thread to be as useful as it can be---especially for people who aren't regulars and come here mainly for the lists---we need an easy way to direct people to the most recent update of The Big RY4 List with links to vendors and reviews, RY4 Category Groups, and the RY4 Report Card. That is, after all, the heart of the thread, at least in terms of compiled information.

As an experiment, I've made a signature that contains a link. I don't know how we'll tell if it helps, but I'll give it a test drive.

I think Bill mixed me up some TFA Double RY4 and I really liked it. I did not like Janty at all, surprising because so many people like it. These are my favorite juices: NLV Gold, NLV Bounty Hunter, Halo Tribeca, Alt-Cig Caramel Kissed Cheesecake, Alt-Cig Gooey Caramel Cookie, and a few more from Alt-Cig.

Maybe keep it in the first original postal folks can always find the info? Maybe hard to do but just a thought.

Also for those that have used the kick bass RY4 and Bill, for the rating on the list...is that scored at vg/pg 30/70? It may be listed but I missd that. I just ordered some not knowing you could ask for 50/50 and got the next highest they had which was 30vg/70pg. Wish I had known as I like my 50/50 vapor ;). Hopefully it will still be good!

The original post cannot be modified or edited without the approval and assistance of an ECF moderator, which means that every time the Big List is updated in the future (once a month on average), I'd have to go to a moderator and explain all over again why I want to modify the original post, then specify what I want changed and how I'd like it done. I prefer things I can do myself that don't require anyone's permission.

KickBassVapor RY4 was reviewed in the standard 70/30 PG/VG base.
