I noticed you were down on Tribeca and didn't want to categorize it for the longest time, then gave it a D+ and now it's an A. What changed your mind (didn't find when you changed) and how different is Tribecca from most RY4s?
Lombaowski,
Here's the story behind Tribeca's miraculous turn-around. Many Halo liquids have a tone (I call it a tone because it's not a flavor, per se) that Halo calls "Purity." This tone is beloved by some vapers and hated by others. It's a brain/palate thing. To some brains, Halo Purity adds a unique and wonderful freshness to the juices flavors. To other brains, that tone tastes like the way hospital disinfectant or bug spray smells. I'm in the latter camp. I absolutely hate it.
My first bottle of Tribeca had (to me) overwhelming Purity and tasted awful. I literally couldn't taste anything but disinfectant. I put the bottle away for almost a year, then hesitantly tried it again. The Purity tone had diminished almost entirely, leaving a wonderful custom RY4 in its wake. Thus, Tribeca went from a D+ to an A in my ratings.
I have since purchased a larger bottle of Tribeca that didn't have that "Purity" thing at all. It was also absent from Halo Turkish. Apparently Halo made a decision somewhere along the line to cut back or eliminate that tone from some of their juices.
Tribeca is a Custom RY4. Custom RY4s have flavor profiles that can go just about anywhere, as long as they contain tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. Some Custom RY4s stretch the envelope right to the breaking point. By contrast, Classic RY4s all taste similar.
ECBlend RY4 and Halo Tribeca are both Custom RY4s, so their dissimilarity comes as no great surprise.
