Down the rabbit hole..
hey Guys...I'll give my :2c: about Copper Creek juice's Twisted tobacco.....:)

read hangdude's review and it was a good and
honest one.......we all really get different stuff...Lol...
To me .....Twisted Tobacco
isn't that sweet.....vr4 and bombay's ry4 to
me are the really sweet ones.....vr4 being
super sweet...
I think Twisted is on the same sweetness
scale as Tribeca......Twisted has a creamy
caramel.... almost a buttery caramel like the
homemade Caramel candy my Granny used
to make... tastes... maybe thats what some would
take as icing....if you've ever had yummy old-fashioned
caramel candy you'll recognize it here.....I agree that
there is slighty more vanilla than caramel flavor....and that
the tobacco is an undertone in this juice....

some prefer their Ry4's to be a tobacco with caramel/vanilla
undertones....
me I prefer the caramel/vanilla with tobacco undertones and
Copper Creeks' Twisted fills that bill......sweet but
not sickening sweet...

I think Copper Creek's Twisted is definitely one of better versions of
the Ry4's...really worth trying.... along with her Houseblend, Raspberry Danish
and Coffee juices...she uses natural flavors....her juices are clean tasting
without flowery, chemical or perfumey tastes... they're yum....

To celebrate her going to Vapefest use coupon code...VEGAS!...for 10% off everything....:thumb:

Down the rabbit hole..
I almost ordered from there. They have a 14650 e-power for a great price right now. I would also like to know how their RY4 is.

the Ry4 from deej stuff is not his best juice...I like his champagne line and his tiramisu but the Ry4, to me, didn't taste
like an Ry4...IMHO....kitty is a great guy though..:)

Actually gotta try the IKV RY4 out some time. How is it?

But yeah, your gonna like the Renegade RY4 man. Everything blends real nicely and it isn't overpowering. Anyways, NLV hasn't let me down yet. You might wanna try the Sundance Lite out. Been waiting for the original Sundance for a while now. Hopefully they might have some more up soon. Also, US Marshall, Saddle up, capparillo caffe latte, and Gold Rush are GOOD too.

Ikenvape is great, good tobacco followed by the caramel and I think slight nuttiness on the exhale. Good stuff well balanced. I'll have to check out the other NLV flavors, I may see myself become a quick fan.

ill also agree you have to try the other NLV juices out. they are great!

Ikenvapes RY4 to me taste just like Dekang just with more flavor. its not really to my liking but others really enjoy it.

im really starting to enjoy BWB RY4 now but its definitely not a traditional RY4. im vaping it with an ego mego dual coil right now and i have to say thats a pretty good combo.

Hmm...gonna order myself a bottle soon to give it a try. Sounds like some good stuff. Anyways, you can't go wrong with NLV. All of their juices are smooth and well mixed. Best part about them is their customer service. It's top notch and I'm sure you'll become a fan when you try out some more flavors.

They are actually #1 on my list of go to vendors.

Sounds good to me LOL Still got some Dekang RY4 and it is lacking in the flavor department. Still haven't tried the BWB RY4 yet. My bottle is still sitting there waited to be tested out. Way to busy with the other juices I ordered but, I'm not worried. BWB juices do take a while for the flavor to develop anyways.

I could use a little advice...

Awhile back I got some RY4 from someone and really loved it. It was a few ml that she'd put into another bottle to send me, so I didn't know the vendor. Later on I got the vendor info and ordered some, but it was totally different. I asked the vendor about it, and was told that he carried Dekang, and that it may have been the "old version" that Dekang no longer makes that I liked, but my description of the juice didn't match either version, so I'm still not sure what it was.

So, I figure that I can either keep spending money I can't afford, trying every RY4 I can find until I get lucky, or maybe I can just describe the "version" I'm interested in, and someone here might recognize it. :)

The RY4 I very much liked definitely must have had some VG in it, at least. The Dekang stuff literally squirts out of the bottles when squeezed, like water, but the stuff I tried would drip out nice and slow, and had a good body to it. I'm thinking at least 30% VG, maybe 50/50? Anywho, the tobacco flavor was very subtle, almost vacant. You really could only tell it was present by how it affected the caramel flavor, which was strong, but not overpowering. Somehow the tobacco combines with it to make it an altogether different experience (if it helps, I tried KBV's RY4, and the tobacco flavor in it was too recognizable and strong by comparison). There's a hint of vanilla, almost as an aftertaste, and absolutely no "nutty flavor," which I simply loathe every time I run into it. The PG/VG ratio isn't really important, I suppose, just finding the right flavor match.

Does that description ring any bells for anyone? Would greatly appreciate tips on vendors carrying that sort of RY4 mix. :)

Cthullusaves:

This is where the category groupings might come in handy for you, to narrow your search, so that even if you can't find the exact same RY4 you loved, you'll have a better chance of finding something similar that you'll like.

Here's the Caramel-Rich Group for all the RY4s on our list so far. Skip KBV, since you already tried that and nixed it. And don't buy Taboo, since you don't like nut flavor and Taboo is definitely nutty.

VapeRite Organic VR4
PrimeVaping PV4
LiquidXpress Taboo
Want2Vape RY4
Vixen Vapors RY4
GoodEJuice RY4
VoidMist RY4
Vapure VY4

Although VR4 is the most caramelly RY4 I know of, I agree with hangdude that Prime Vaping PV4 is a good replacement candidate. I might suggest Night Lite Vapor Renegade RY4 because I like it, and it's very inexpensive, but I'm sure from your description that Renegade's tobacco element would be too strong for your tastes. On the other end of the scale DIY Flavorshop has an RY4-variant called Caramel RY4 that might hit the spot, but it's the 2nd most expensive juice I've ever seen---$27 for 30mls + Priority Shipping. Probably not within your stated budget.

Yeah, PV4 is the best one we can offer.

There is also the paradise vapes caramel RY4 to consider. By it's very name sake this is an obviously caramel heavy RY4 mix but not so caramel becomes all you can taste. Certianly a dessert Ry4 the tobacco is still very much alive in this juice and actually will be the first to hit you, with the smooth caramel coming later on the exhale. P.V do their mixes to order and 50/50 is usually a safe way to go since too heavy on the VG will dull flavour somewhat. The tobacco flavour is almost certianly derived form the vendors drum or camel tobacco as the dry aftertaste is identical. Vanilla is present, though like many Ry4 mixes is by no means obvious and is often lost after heavy vaping on the same liquid until a rest period is had and one begins to notice it's sutble charms. It is absolutely essential you allow any paradise vape liquid to steep, requiring at least 2 weeks if not more for flavour to balance correctly.

There is a paradise vapes uk and candian site for your consideration.

I Have been trying various ENjuice liquids this week including two if their Ry4 'premium' mixes. One purely PG and another their own mix, likely 50/50 though possibly less as it's still a thin juice.

The VG/PG mixed version has a subtle aroma, caramel is the first choice, but later on i almost felt it was more maple syrup like. This theme is continued on into the flavour of the juice, with a sugary sweet maple syrup the first flavour to hit the tongue with an almost buttery like aftertaste and an incredibly subtle tobacco afterwards. Like the Janty blend, this mix has a touch of sourness to it on the exhale, a sourness you may initially miss until you've put your P.V down and reflected on the flavour. The butter like taste is highly reminiscent of RY3 an e-lqiuid I like to vape occasionally when I feel I've exhausted RY4 for a period or two. The ENjuice does feature some vanilla there, but it's drowned by the maple syrup like flavour for the most part, those like myself not looking for it at first would be forgiven for barely registering it. Vanilla is subtle at the best of times for me and if its something important in your mixes will be missed here.

Overall it's a decent enough RY4. It has more complexity then a more simple Chinese mix might have, but at the same time, is difficult to appreciate as an all day vape with such a strong presence of maple syrup flavour, a flavour which arguably isn't correct for RY4 in the first place. Incidentally, ENjuices maple waffles is possibly one of the nicest liquids I've yet tried and one I'd go for over their Ry4 personally since their mixes here are so similar.

zombitedesade,

Nice reviews. I really appreciate other people being out there on the hunt for good RY4s, or even so-so RY4s. We all want to know what's available in RY4-land and how it is, so this thread becomes inevitably and correctly a group effort.

Paradise Vapes RY4 sounds pretty good. And while there's no law against using maple syrup or any other flavor in an RY4 mix, I agree with you---maple is not a flavor I would choose for RY4. So I'd question ENjuice's judgment.

Yesterday, I received in the mail a 5ml sample bottle of Ruyan 4 I purchased from ECBlend, a new juice vendor (here in Oregon, no less). Since it's a custom blend, I'll give the juice a week or so to steep, then it's next up for me to review, rank, and categorize.

Keep those RY4 reviews coming, folks!

Just tried the Caramel Vanilla RY4 from DIY Flavorshack and it's still pretty fresh. Should've let it steep for a little bit but what I'm getting from it so far is a dessert type of RY4. When I first put 3ml into my REO mini. The Caramel and Vanilla was overpowering while the Tobacco flavor was very light.

Now, after a few days of sitting there while I sampled some other juices I bought. I tried it again and while the Caramel/Vanilla are still pretty strong. The tobacco is starting to be more "visible" which kind of balances everything out a bit more and the juice is starting to become more enjoyable.

I probably going to do a follow up in a week or so to let the flavors in the juice develop a bit more before going more in depth with what I'm experiencing. Still have the Caramel RY4 and well as their "regular" RY4 to try.

All in all, I'm happy with the juice and Dawn hasn't failed me yet LOL. DIY Flavorshack is one of the premium juice vendors on this forum and their prices are pretty much the same as Pink Spot but the good thing is. You'll always get some quality juice, customer service, along with free gifts.

Coupon Code: August20 for 20% off of orders 20 bucks or more

So it will allow the opportunity to try out some of their juices. For example, the 30ml will be 21.56 after the discount. Still pretty expensive but it's better than paying full price.

Anyone who might not be aware of Dawn from DIY Flavorshack. She's the one who created "Honeybeez".

Thanks to Bill's review I ordered some Bloog RY4 and received it today. It is the closest thing to 'The Original' that my taste buds have found. This is very close! Not sure if a little tweaking by the manufacturer could make it even more dead on? My guess is perhaps too much Ethyl Maltol and not enough caramel.

Overall, I give it thumbs up!

OK, hold your checkbook because my review was premature!

After further review this flavor is just TOO WEAK, although it teased me at first. :(
I totally agree, the flavor itself is good, but the intensity of the flavor is way too weak. Hope Bloog fixes that b/c the RY4 they used to use in their cartos was intense and amazing, but not any more.

still and sweet,

The Janty Elixir Line RY4 I purchased recently has (to my palate) about 10-15% more flavor impact than the Bloog/SI Volt RY4. I also pick up what my taste receptors identify as a very slight sourness from the Janty---not an unpleasant or off-taste, but more of a subtle tart element for contrast and to balance the other ingredients' sweetness. The Bloog/Volt has none of that, perhaps because of the ethyl malitol. Ah, guessing games.

Do you think steeping time might develop or deepen the flavors of the Bloog? I'd guess not, since it's pre-mix from China, which is generally "wysiwyg" (what-you-see-is-what-you-get), but you never know...

Jeez, first it's the Fabled Lost Dekang RY4, now it's the Mysteriously Missing Bloog RY4. What is this, Clue? (I say Professor Green in the Conservatory with the Rope. LOL.)
