ive try a some of ikenvape ry4 (pg blend) and if people enjoy halo's tribecca they should really try ikenvape ry4 because its almost the same thing

and the price is far better !
Flavor is very crisp and bright in these ry4 but a bit too strong almost like a 555 , myself im not a big fan of those flavors anymore wich is a surprise because i love bwb 555 wich have a very strong flavor and smell (the only juice from bwb that i have try that have a power flavor) but like like i say too much for me but maybe for others is the ry4 all day vape they looking !
roxxette,
After reading your post, I wanted to see how I felt about your linkage. So, I grabbed my cartos of
IKV RY4 Gold PG and
Halo Tribeca, screwed the cartos onto two identical VV boxes, and had at it.
As readers of this thread may already know, I'm not a big fan of Halo's signature "purity" base undertone (understatement), since to my palate it tastes unpleasantly antiseptic, like the smell of a hospital room. My initial review of Tribeca (post #157) reflected that bias, and its ranking never got very high in the Big List. But many months of steeping has dissipated that undertone, and now, on those occasions when I comparison-test Tribeca against other RY4s, I'm very impressed. The component flavors (tobacco, caramel, and vanilla) and their mix ratios in Tribeca were always great, and since that's all I taste now (no more medicinal disinfectant undertone), I hold Tribeca in high esteem as one of the very best RY4s I've ever had.
OK, with that recanting established, do I think that IKV RY4 Gold tastes like Tribeca? No, I don't. For one thing, IKV Gold has a pronounced nuttiness that carries the other flavors in its mix. Tribeca, on the other hand, has no nuttiness at all. Zero.
Second, while I agree that Tribeca has a classic RY4 brightness---in part, because of the remnants of Halo's "purity" base---I don't find IKV Gold to be bright at all. It's not dark, really, but it's certainly not "bright." I guess I'd call it mid-range or medium on the bass-treble scale (the audio term would be "flat," but that conveys the wrong impression with a juice, so I won't use it). What I get from IKV Gold is a happy medium, even though the caramel and tobacco predominate, with only a hint of vanilla. And all wrapped in pleasing nuttiness (which, I agree, leans in the direction of 555, but stops short, staying in RY4 Land).
Finally, Tribeca has a kick of sweetness that IKV doesn't. Tribeca isn't cloyingly sweet (as some dessert RY4s can be), but it carries a slightly sharp sweet sensation on my tongue, like a punctuation mark of sweetness. By contrast, IKV Gold is rich but not particularly sweet.
Please understand, I'm not challenging your post. Taste is subjective, and we taste what we taste. So, thanks for contributing to the thread. I'm just chiming in with an alternate perception. I find both these juices to be superlative RY4s, each in its own way. If I want a great nutty tobacco-caramel RY4, I'd reach for Ikenvape Gold any day. If I want a bright, clean RY4 with no nuts, Tribeca (after lengthy stepping) will fill the bill happily---forgive my bad double entendre, LOL.
If I were looking for an RY4 as an all-day vape, however, I probably wouldn't turn to either of these. Instead, I'd consider slightly more laid back custom RY4s, such as
Spring Vapor Black Label Day and Night, and especially
Mountain Oak Vapor CountRY4, both of which seem to me specifically formulated to be smoother all-day vapes.
