I made a mistake this morning while topping off my boge carto of Apollo RY4. While still half asleep, I mistook my bottle of Boba's Bounty for Apollo and put about 5 or 6 drops of Boba's on top of the Apollo. OMG, this mixture is something else. It puts a thick honey twist on an already good RY4. Has anybody else tried mixing Boba's Bounty with a RY4? Glad I made this mistake, I might be vaping this all day.

I opened my Halo Tribeca yesterday. It is about two months steeped.

I tried Tribeca a year ago, when I first started vaping. I did not like the base flavor. I have described it here as "bug spray." I don't know if my tastes have changed, or maybe steeping helped, but I can much better tolerate Halo's base flavor now. It has not reached the point of "best juice ever" or even close, but it has gone from the trash can (actually I PIFed the last bottle) to good. I can not yet go as far as Bill in my praise of Tribeca, but I feel another couple months in the steeping closet will help it further.

I might have to try Apollo RY4 + Bobas. It does sound good, and might give a little depth to the Apollo.

I think you will like it! I am still vaping it, have been all morning and it does add depth to Apollo. It also negates the oriental tilt of the flavor profile.

I am not that thrilled with Tribeca right out of the bottle It tastes kind of like 555 crossed with DK-Tab to me, not much like an RY4; maybe it's my taste buds, maybe it needs to steep.

I also was offered free samples of Halo and chose Tribeca and Bella Valente. Very excited to try them!

Not an RY4 but have any denizens of this thread ever tried Bloog SPI (Sorry, Please Ignore)? That is the epitome of what I call a "dry" tobacco. One of my favorites.

Is there anything similar to NLV's Caramel Corral that is somewhat easier to get hold of? Because I've been vaping this since Thursday and it is CRAZY good. Like, zoomed to my personal top 5 good. Caramel-addict heaven. It tastes just like the topping on a McDonalds' caramel sundae:p

scarf,

To me, NLV Caramel Corral is similar to BWB RY4---not in taste, of course, but in uniqueness. Whether you're hot for either juice, just lukewarm toward them, or downright cold in your reaction, one thing we can be certain of is that you won't find any other retail juices that taste like them.

Personally, I find the mix of caramels in Caramel Corral to taste strongly artificial. But then, that's one of the qualities that single out NiteLiteVapor---to my palate, many NLV juices have an artificial flavor. The amazing thing is that---through some magic I don't understand---that synthetic, unnatural quality doesn't deter at all from my enjoyment of vaping the juices. This is major league impressive, since I usually have a immediate negative reaction to artificial flavors. Not so with NLV (mostly). For instance, I marvel at how Bounty Hunter and Gold can taste so artificial, yet be so darned good, and in a way that endures for me without becoming tiresome, month after month.

Bill, the reason I wanted something similar is so I needn't impose on forum members to get my hands on more. Unlike Blanche DuBois, I don't like depending on the kindness of strangers :p (NLV does not ship internationally and they are usually only open for a few hours when I am asleep.) I am looking for that lip-smacking sundae-topping lusciousness. Waaay back in the beginning of this thread you compared it favourably to Vaperite Organic. Does that still hold true? Ogredog seems to think not LOL.

That said, if anyone has some Caramel Corral lying around I will gladly take it off your hands:)

Same here. Caramel Corral tastes artificial to me too, like those fake coffee creamers. But I guess we each have our own preferences.

Scarf, the best caramel I ever had was from Clouds of Vapor. I met Bruce, the owner, at the one and only vape meet I went to.

I had been vaping only for three weeks. I was at that stage where I couldn't taste anything. All the juices I tried tasted like nothing. Bruce let me try his GG and his Provari and was extremely helpful. I bought some Caramel from him, and really liked it a lot.

Yes, NLV has become the juice vendor equivalent of a boutique 1920s speakeasy for members only and other insiders who know the password. LOL.

Waaay back in the beginning of this thread you compared it favourably to Vaperite Organic. Does that still hold true? Ogredog seems to think not LOL.

Ogredog's correct. In my original review of Caramel Corral, back in December 2011, I did indeed favorably compare the caramels in Corral and VR4. I said that they were both rich and gooey, like Kraft liquid caramel sundae topping. My opinion has changed since then (especially because I just vaped them both for this post). Today, they strike me as very different, in both the respective caramels and their overall flavor.

To me, VR4's caramel is dark and gooey, and feels like a single flavoring to me. I no longer find it like an ice cream topping, however---more of a chewy caramel cube. Also, Vaperite's natural extract tobacco is a clear presence. Caramel Corral hits my palate as a blend of various caramels. Today I find that blend not so much rich as broad, poured on liberally over the other flavors in the mix. The ice cream topping holds here, however. If Caramel Corral were a sundae, it'd be a single scoop of vanilla ice cream slathered/smothered/drowned in liquid caramel (which might be wonderful or not-so-good, depending on one's particular flavor preferences).

I was initially impressed by the sheer caramelly overwhelm of Caramel Corral, but it paled quickly for me, since I wanted a darker caramel and more focused tobacco, rather than just a smoky background aura. I have that thought about Bounty Hunter also from time to time---I want more tobacco! That's why I often mix Bounty Hunter with goodejuice Vita Bella.

I still feel that VR4 is a unique custom RY4, and very, very good.
