Of the qualities I would attribute to the eleven-or-so Mountain Oak Vapor juices I've tried---most of them tobaccos from a sampler pack that the hangdude mailed me, plus some beta-test juices that Le Dean and Steve kindly provided for my opinion---I'd put subtlety at the head of the list, followed by softness. Nothing sharp at all about MOV juices to me. They're not gym-workout hard-bodies, more Marilyn Monroe rounded and curvy, although not nearly as voluptuous as MM. At least, that's the way I experience CountRY-4.
Sounds like Longbottom Leaf is a more straight-ahead tobacco, with less spice and greater punch and bite.
(I forget---do people actually inhale pipe tobacco into their lungs or just only as far as the mouth before exhaling? If the latter, then might pipe tobaccos be more rough and hardy, as a complement to being aromatic? I never smoked a pipe, except as a brief experiment in pretentiousness in college.)
I love your descriptions! Marilyn Monroe curvy
