Ooooh...there are great new pics in the REO Family Reunion thread:)! Scott, and any other tattooed Reonauts, did you know there's a thread to show/explain the inspiration for your ink in ECF's Lounge - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/404695-show-me-your-tats.html? But, back on the topic of the REOmeet pics, I've always liked shaved heads...we have some fine domes in REOville, indeed:2cool:!

(Just a bit more promotion of a non-REO thread, though...if the song-chain game in my sig is of no interest, there's a newer free-association song-chain thread in ECF's Lounge that doesn't have the rules that that one does; it's right here - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...zy-totally-clean-free-association-chain.html;).)

i have returned to silica for my main device, because it lasts longer. HRH likes cotton and i do too - but i can ruin it in a day. The birthday boy showed me how to make his favoured kind of setup, with a silica wick and i have managed 3 days with it - rinsed it out today and it's good.

Grand with an RM2. Top setup.

T

Jim, I've been using the same setup since the vapemeet!!!!! All I do is about every other day or third dry burn the silica till the coil starts to get red and then dry burn it a bit!!!

Perfect situation for a lazy old broad!:D

i don't recommend using blowtorched ss mesh in an RM2 - it discolours the juice. Popular opinion seems to be that you pulse the new coil on the mesh BUT NOT ON A REO - on another mod. That builds up a little oxidisation on the coil and stops it shorting to the ss.

I think a mesh takes about a day to break in if it is not torched. The benefits are it tastes clean but the throat hit can be fierce.

HRH does not like it, so i only make them on things i have to.

When i get some more money after paying for today's escapades by HRH - i'd like to give ceramic wicks a bash! I'm fairly sure i can ruin those too.

T

I use a torch type lighter to oxidize my ss mesh but haven't discovered any juice discoloration and I go through over 12ml in a day (could be a reason for this). May be true with other types, water/oil based or diff flavors, haven't tried too many different ones. Or a propane vs butane reason. I have also used mesh that haven't been oxidized on a RM2 with no shorts, as long as they clear the posts, metal rim around the ceramic base and cover cap. I believe Clyde uses mesh thats nut oxidized as well, iirc. But Clyde's mesh is a short piece and mine's about 1-1/4" long wrapped around a paperclip having many layers.

I think it doesn't short because its the wire's going into the posts are whats regulating the resistance and nut the whole coil  Really interesting stuff, being a novice with electrical concepts :)

Well - i had to clean all mine - but my thanks to Justice for the emery boards - i stole one to ruinous glares. I watched some mountain guy do it, so i figured it'd be ok!

Yes he does - and it's just short enough to fit between the posts.

The mesh does not count as part of the resistance, only the length and gauge of the wire - and that is why people sometimes use no-or-non resistance wire on the tails of coils. Silver is best i reckon. I got some from a jewellers but if i'd have had some prescience i'd have taken a shotgun and taken the damn diamonds too.

HRH is very annoyed at me - but women are like that.

Totally random but I'm so Pi$$ed right now... Our basement drain decided to backup because someone decided to flush the john really hard. We now have 3 inches of water half way across the basement which is awesome considering our desktops and it's carpet. Soooo mad :(

Sorry it had to happen guy, fire dept here help with draining water, if they do there they may be of help

Hey gang. How do I leave feedback for a seller? No time to read the forum rules.

Can't help you there with that, sorry Ed

That is a great way to spend the day! Now that I finished grilling and eating figured I'd check up on you guys

Well, glad you got to stop by. Hehe, getting interrupted with phone calls by thirsty friends and seems all are staying home too :). What was on the grill?
