So I am going to go for a Grand, stepping into the world of mechanical mods :vapor: I currently have an SVD with stacked AW IMR18350 700mah and at 15 watts that lasts me most of a day, Trying to figure between two 1600mah AW IMR18650s and replace them when they get to 3.0 or when the performance drops off, or the panny NCR18650PD 2900mah I do not plan on going lower than 0.8Ω so either will be more than enough drain wise. Any suggestions?

That's as low as I go as well. I would stick to the AW personally. But I use the 2000mah ones and two lasts me more then all day. Others will say different some of it is preference but the REO's were designed around AW batteries for fit.

i don't really care what i whack in it! i have AWs, mnkes, orbtronics (rebadged pannies - those are good), and some samsung INRs. All fine - some better for sub-ohm.

What i do not use are protected AWs from my old (now a coil tester) Silver bullet because they crushed the spring and melted the firing button. My SB will swallow an 18700 battery - my Reo will not.

AW 18650 1600mAh are the recommended batteries and they are also highly rated for sub-ohm, able to handle a constant discharge of 24A (that allows you to make a 0.2Ω coil!! which your spring will not withstand.)
