strangely enough a friend tells me that someone dropped a ROOSTER off in the neighbor's yard but no one has been around there in a couple days. Now I am not familiar with roosters, just ducks and mean old geese, but I am pretty sure that while hens are allowed roosters are not. I wonder if they are away on vacation and someone thought of a guard rooster because I immediately thought of Den, and all the rooster chasing/stalking talk around here, and told them to call animal control
What are the odds that a guard chicken would enter my RL conversation? The paranoia is getting pretty intense here...

But I don't think I would be ok if I went out to chase it down. I bowed out, today is not a good day to be tempting beaky birds with attitude. I would be mauled for sure! Let the professionals handle that. I'm just going to sit here quietly and try to stop the nose bleed from hell that is ruining the taste of my juice.

David, we use SWAMBO over here She who always must be obeyed!
Grands are the best, Bolt-Horsie, congrats. I only use AW IMRs, awesome Kay gifted me my first pair whilst I was waiting for my battery order to get here. Thx to her, I had batteries when my Reo arrived!
