HRH has taken off to the shops again - i knew that soda machine would be a money pit! 'but i need to buy the syrups today'. pfft.

Yes because HRH likes it. I don't drink soda myself.
She got it from Big Lots here for $30 i think. They were on special offer (so she "saved" $50 - isn't it marvellous how their minds work??). I'm sure it'll still be cheaper than buying coca cola. I am just itching to see if i can make some of my e-liquid fizzy, but i think she'd kill me!

First off, before I forget......Nutz, Zippo's illness breaks my heart! Humongous hugs to you and him. I really really hope that there's a good outcome.
I've been watching Deadwood for days...lordy, I love that show..... this morning I switched to WD, the first three new eppies. I have a slow workin mind so I watch it the first time, miss most of everything pertinent, then watch again to try to catch the snippets of what to conjure about for the next eppie.
One thing I will emphatically state is that if Glen, Herschel or Michonne get knocked off this season I will picket this show
Alice, we want pics of your new "do"...and I know you will be lovely!
The weather has changed to " late fall" so I've hunkered down inside and took up crotcheting while I watch tv...a LOT of tv.... after all, " idle hands are the devil's workshop"
By the way, I mostly crotchet winter hats, as I can whip one out in about an hour.If anyone wants one just PM me your preferred color.
They're nothing fancy, but they'll keep the chill off your noggin.

As a Trucker, I leave out on overnight or two-night runs once a week. I really like my mini 2,1/ RM2 RBA combo. Easily fits in any shirt pocket, battery lasts all day, 3ml of one of my favorite juices on board. Just my

After 2+ weeks playing with ekowool I have to say this stuff kicks .....
I would have never even tried it if my silica hadn't run out and my second silica purchase sucked so badly .....
I guess all silica is not created equal .......
But this ekowool is the nutz ..... I didn't want to jump the gun with my excitement so I've worked it hard for the last couple weeks. It excels in every way for me. Bye Bye micro coils and cotton ...... Back to what I know and love, double her over and give'er four wraps for 1.1 ohms.
Good news is it works great in the RM2 and the Chalice (as well as everything else i own).
I could never make silica taste that great in the RM2 .... Now I'm cookin !!

How tall are you papa? I have large hands.
I just wrapped my first cotton coil Thursday not sure how I am feeling about it

At 5'7" I am not tall, but bigger guys usually comment on the length of my fingers, as in "guitar player hands". My dexterity is probably a lot different from yours. I curl my pinky under the mini, wrap the two middle fingers/ thumb around the mod and curl my index finger on top to fire button. I also have a VV Grand, but I just wrap my hand around that one and move my thumb out of the way. If you have thick meaty hands (I do not) try to get a Mod with a side button, if possible ?
I added this picture just to show how I carry a mini in my fingers, not in the palm. If you have large thick hands this might not be the ideal way for you

If you're 6'4" with large hands a Grand will probably be the right size. I'm 6'1", thought it might help to compare my Grand to a can of root beer.
from tip of thumb to tip of middle finger measures 9 14/16"

Gone a month on the same ecowool wick I think past day or so it tastes a bit off and I will rewick coil today but ya a month is pretty good
