How are you feeling?
It's weird. I went in yesterday for my first physical therapy appointment. The surgeon had put a dressing on my shoulder and told me to leave it on until my post-operative checkup on this coming Monday. The first thing the physical therapist did was yank the dressing off to take a look. He told me everything looked pretty good and that I didn't need it any more. He then proceeded to play the "tell me when this hurts" gameI didn't think much about it, but a while later, my shoulder seemed to be hurting more than it had been before. I don't know if it's from the lack of dressing or all the pulling/twisting I did in there. I had to decrease my time between pills to keep up with the pain. I have another PT appointment tomorrow and am definitely going to be asking about it.
PT = physical torture. Plan on needing more pain meds after they do their job. I know this very well! You might want to take an nsaid (ibuprofen) before the torture session so it can kick in and help out.
