Tomorrow i should have my ramp! I miss it so much but it is really long and heavy which requires extra help and a moving trailer. Hopefully everything will come unbolted easily. It is some kind of heavy aluminum that fits together.

My dh got it for me at a auction. He set it up for me also. It was a all day job for him and i was so happy to finally get one that supposedly will last forever. It has treads :)

I used a few wooden ramps in my lifetime. They never lasted without having to paint and repair. My DH got tired of it.

hope you get your internet back on today!

Good morning REOvillians!

Breaking Bad has a marathon starting today. I have never seen it; I like to go in order and always missed the first one. There is one major, major problem though: they run 24/7 with no break until done. All 5 seasons, all 60+ episodes. So I guess I will try to watch/DVR what I can of the first season (only 7) and the 2nd (13 episodes). That is 20 hours alone, and there is no way I am going to get the whole 5 seasons either watched or DVR'd. But it's a start at least! I just never thought the whole premise would be something I would go for, chemistry teacher (I admire) turns into vicious, dying cooker/dealer. Not my cup of tea at all, but everyone loves it so I am keeping an open mind and am hoping to enjoy it.

I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing post-holiday weekend, so you can recharge for New Year's Eve!

DEN: are you moving because of your new little neighbor upstairs? If so, get a place with an elevator so you can be in the top apartment. Then tell your downstairs neighbors that if they hear any strange thumps to please check on you. That way if you do one of your bloody falls someone can at least check on you before you bleed out

I just finished my own little marathon of the WD series it was pretty good not a big zombie fan myself but still wasn't bad. Just started the Breaking Bad series also

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy tipped Reo

Hi Pietro! I hope you and yours had a lovely holiday! DH got (from Den) the matching DT he got from Bert in LV as a topper for a black RM2 (a collaborative project by Rob and Scott) for Xmas and loves it! He is acclimating from the easy peasy A7 to the more finicky RM2, but luckily Scott wicked it with silica for me so DH didn't have to burn up a bunch of cotton learning to squonk every 2-3 hits. He isn't cut out for cotton yet, as he has proven when he forgets his (?) and borrows mine

As for WD, by now you realize that WD is not about zombies. It refers to the living, and their struggles to survive the apocalypse. It is their struggle to remain human (literally and emotionally) against the odds that is the real story. I was not a zombie fan either, but my niece was a fanatic of the show so I checked it out and surprised myself. I am hoping BB is going to be as good :)

Not bad, Darrel & Ed. er...well....the house is destroyed. Like a tornado came through it. Got a ton of chores to do. Wayne is heading down to the permit office to officially submit and review all the paperwork for the new house. I'm just being a lazy slug...enjoying my coffee and vape while I try to decide what to tackle first. Laundry, garbage, office or Christmas stuff. Though to be honest, I think I'm gonna leave the Christmas stuff right where it is for a few more days. How are you?

PS...love the avatar...reminds me of "Art of Manliness"

Ya...it's icky and drizzly here. Dark too.

My brother is coming up tomorrow to see our mom for the first time in 3 or 4 years. It's too bad he waited so long. She doesn't remember him anymore, she recognizes me as someone who is important to her but I don't think she understands I'm her daughter anymore. I warned him in advance, so hopefully he's prepared and I don't have to deal with the blathering guy who "just now" realized that he's lost his mom. I'm going down there to be there with him while he visits with her since I'm used to her randomness. I even took a video yesterday of my visit with her so I can show him before he goes in so he has a better idea of what to expect.

I'm having a coffee and deciding whether to get oot and aboot or just sit here and put it all off 'till the weekend.
You're very welcome  Its a great site for anyone in need of guidance whether they think so or not.

This is harder on the family I think than the individual. My grandmother goes from not a clue to knowing remembering everything. She 95-96 now. It's strange. Ya just never know what mind she will have on an given day. I know that she's comfortable and happy tho so that's all that matters IMO.
