A belated Merry Christmas to you all and tomorrow a happy new year as well. I am not going anywhere tomorrow as it is the 2 year anniversary of my accident and in the last 2 months we are finally all healed up for the most part.
We have been sick at our house for about a month now and is getting pretty old but other than that all is well. Hope everyone had a nice time over the holiday and doesn't gain too much weight.
Getting my mod ready to send to Rob but wanted to wait until after the sale, any idea when that will be? Anyway Happy new Year all.

Are you running Ubuntu from a cd Scott? i ask because that was the usual way to try it out and it is then slower than if it were on your hard disk.

Anyone know where to get AW IMR 18490s with paypal? RTD doesnt take paypal anymore and after having debit card issues in the past would prefer paypal to be safe .

checked my banner to see how long i've been here bugging y'all, and it appears to be stuck on 140 days. gonna be a tad hard hitting a year at this rate

why do you want wine if you're dual-booting win/linux?
good evening everyone got my new desk in its very nice I like it nothing fancy but sturdy looks good and it was free 
Have to remove the keyboard tray I don't like them much and one of the box legs has no support if you try to move the desk so will box it tomorrow but ya I's is happy

so i can run some of my windows apps like my bank app
by the way i got wine installed and im on ubuntu right now
now i need to figure out how to run thunderbird that was installed with the OS
still confused... if dual-booting, why not just run the win apps under windows?
or are you just gradually shifting over to linux entirely?
wish i could help with thunderbird, but i was only running linux on this box in a VM and i must have deleted it.
Sterno not sure if you know. There is a help forum for ubuntu. Way back when I first installed Linux mint(a ubuntu derivative) I couldn't get the drivers for my wifi. Found my answer on the ubuntu forums. Goodluck.
