Maybe a little testosterone would do the trick? ;)

Any REO's coming up misplaced, dead battery or low on juice?

Now imagine hundreds of thousands of people moving there, tearing up the quaint place you grew up, the farms and greenways are now condos, you have been taxed out of your family farm and home, and then someone telling you "I would love to live in Louisiana except for the Louisianians." Pretty rotten thought and thing to say isn't it? You would probably say to them, "it wasn't us Louisianans who messed it up, it was all those people moving here!" and then you would understand how I feel.

I get it,
just relating my experience. I know a good bit about losing family property to big time greed and corporations.
Petro Processors dumped toxic waste onto my families farmland for a decade, while the courts tried to figure out if what they were doing was "infringing" on our property rights. They owned a small parcel of land bordering ours. Our cattle died a brutal toxic death, the wild animals were fkd like Chernobyl and our land was deemed unsafe. My Pawpaw spent 25 years of his life fighting in courts to get his land restored back to the non-toxic level it was before.

Well this rant, brought me to some wonderful articles on google.
Ewell vs Petro Processors
My Pawpaw was Dave H. Ewell
I grew up w/Devil's swamp being the family fight. We are all environmentalists from birth.

Here's a little short from a great story in the Louisiana Law Review

Also in the early l970s, a Petro Processors waste facility came
under fire in East Baton Rouge Parish, just north of Ascension;
large, open pits at the property boundary were leaking onto
neighboring lands that included cattle fields and the formerly
pristine Devil’s Swamp.81 The neighbors, the Ewell family, found
their soils saturated with a suite of chlorinated hydrocarbons: toxic,
bio-accumulative chemicals. They brought a civil case for
restoration of their land, estimated to cost over $170 million.82

Although the source of the contamination was virtually
uncontested, the extent of it was muddied at trial, and the jury
awarded a small fraction of the requested amount, $30,000, barely
covering plaintiff’s costs in bringing the case.83 Although the
award was increased to $200,000 on appeal, no cleanup was
ordered.84 Further attempts to secure it also failed.85 The lesson of
the Petro Processors litigation was that civil actions were unlikely
to remedy a hazardous waste problem once it was discovered.
Citizens at risk of exposure needed to intervene at the front end.

Hi Ed :) Things are okay I guess. Just starting into our next production cycle. I'm all caught up with my ads so I'm just lounging in my pjs with my pups. I'm excited for Peggy and her new puppies. Can't wait to see pictures.

You staying warm and dry?

I am staying warm. Worried about Karen though, she has record low temps.

I cant wait to see Peggy's new pups either.

Ya...cold rain is the pits. We got our fair share today, but nothing abnormal for this time of year. Sounds like you had a decent day. :) So is your stepson going to school yet?

Well, I saw her posting earlier...and didn't seem distressed. I'm sure she's got all her contingencies in place and she'll be posting again in the morning, safe, sound & griping about the cold.
