I just want a concrete shack with a big 3-4 inch water hose at the door. Lots of throw cushions. When it gets dirty toss the cushions out and hose the whole place out. Simple easy done

Hahaha....sounds like you could use a mongolian style yurt. Fire pit in the center to cook with and you're set.

I bet....we're still working on our project to put a house on our property...and I'm already at that point where I just want it to have 4 sides and a roof.:laugh:

I don't envy you one bit, its a headbanging process from start to finish. Prices and building codes are nutso too. $270 kitchen faucet thats made in china, uh don't think so bud. I can find a $90 clone made at the same chinese factory

You and me both bro. A flat wall with a drawing of my behind would have more depth to it. Hell, I fly with a pillow from home to make the seat a little softer ;)

It's especially difficult for us because we both have years and years of building experience both residential & commercial (I supplied materials & ran install crews....he was a builder. So this is something that we know a lot about, but we often get treated like noobies with no clue. We love being insulted by people who expect to get paid. :glare:

...another one from the, tricky "like" file. I honestly DO like whenever I learn more about the life experiences from my REOpals' (plus DH/DW/Detc.) pasts, but now Lisa thinks I like that she gets treated like a noob my moochers:p! Thank goodness that those in the know about mongolian style yurts are typically good at sorting out such toughies:p! Does your wife maybe give a top-notch foot massage, Nutz?

Actually a foot massage doesn't help because the pain from my nerve damage not the muscles. I need to take my meds to get any relief but that puts me to sleep pronto and its too early here.....I'd wake up at 4am  Hope you are able to sleep well and your ails not flaring today :)

But now that I've said it....I have often found myself worried over liking someone's post and them getting the wrong idea as to why I'm liking it.

Man, Lisa, I didn't realize that you're putting up a house on your property on top of all your job entails:ohmy:! Now, maybe I did, but I'm just forgetting it. The sleep thing does that:blink:. Any word on getting a little assistance?

Nutz, next I was gonna recommend one of those little hot water foot spas, but it doesn't sound like that'd do much. My well wishes go right back to your poor barking dogs.

That's why we're not doing it ourselves....we just don't have the time. If we were to do it ourselves it would take us 2 years just to get occupancy. We're just at the beginning stage again....had to take a break to deal with some family stuff. But we're back on it again. We'll work on the property on weekends and as they days get longer in the evenings. But when we're "on"....we're both desk bound and focused on word. So its going to be a juggle for sure. But worth it in the end. :)

I think it was something that I talked about before you came through these parts...so you probably didn't know. :)
