So, I haven't told DH yet, and nothing is set yet, but I have a friend who needs a ride to Oregon, and he is in Kansas. If I drive the 1000 miles to Denver, he can meet me there. Then on the way home I can visit my "old" roommate in Oregon, and take the scenic route down the California coast to see the vineyard, and the other farm we had to sell to pay the gov'ment when my dad died.

So, I will ask again since my previous attempts have been ignored:
WHERE ARE YOU ALL COLLABORATING AND STAYING IN DENVER??? And why is it such a secret amongst those getting funds for going?

Easy Val, you are not being ignored dear, it's just not completely decided yet and I missed your first request for information, sorry I do not always have time to thoroughly read every post here and sometimes have to scan to keep up.

Pietro is staying with friends in the area and will be picking up Alice at the airport friday morning. DW, Alice and I are sharing a hotel room yet to be determined. My boss is on vacation and I can not get confirmation on how much time off I can have until he returns Monday, so I have not booked the room yet. I am very good at booking last minute rooms at a good deal so no worries there. I will be happy to let you know when I know :)

Good morning, REOville:)! Scott, if you got a bit of teasing for your new very manly cropped cargo style military shorts, imagine what this guy's friends had to say:ohmy: -

Can't see a poodle anymore without (happily) thinking of Jen (I'd love the link to your Flickr photos again, since I lost my bookmarks); I hope you get another cortisone shot or two and will have some relief very soon, Jen:wub:!
Crazy about my beloved UK and the upcoming 6mg baloney, Frank. That level would never cut it for getting folks to make the switch:glare:.
Oh, boy, do I ever remember the pup alarms, Nutz:laugh:! Sorry for laughing, but it'll get better soon. That said, one of my pups, Penny, has recently taken to barking out on the deck in the wee hours, quite happily and for no reason whatsoever (she's Penelope with a scowl on such occasions). A PM to inkdog might be in order.... Love the Zippo Blog, and sorry for the delay on your house, but it's still real soon!
Speaking of which, congrats on your house, Pietro; the 19th is right around the corner:toast:!
Good luck with your first attempts at DIY, Shellbee. I've got my first tries since some truly foul initial mixes steeping in my closet and the components of Val's Boba's clone on the way, so fingers crossed for both of us:unsure:...
I say more pop-ins from Roger, okay?!
Hope you had a great time in Indiana with your daughter, Karen!
You totally gave me my first chuckles of the day talking about your motorcycle foreplay, Val:laugh:! Thank you. It would be so wonderful if you do get to join Alice, Rob, Julie, and Pietro to go honor Jack and bring all of our love to Colorado!

Hope all of your Thursdays and all of the day's vapes are lovely:vapor:!

Got a call from the doc yesterday to come in a day early because he had to clear today's schedule. First surgery is scheduled for July 25, 3 months recovery, then the 2nd surgery with 3 months recovery, and finally the 3rd and final surgery and 3 more months recovery and I will be back to feeling human.
:headbang:
The second two surgeries might be avoided, we will be trying a special belt during the recovery of first surgery, but if the belt doesn't help the second two surgeries are in the plan.

I will. I have over 1.5 liters of 100 mg/ml safely in storage in the freezer at the condo, and another liter here at the house. (Hi, my name is Val and I am a nicotine addict) and you only need a measly 6gm/ml? I will send you 6 mg/ml, then 5 mg/ml, then 4 mg/ml... in large enough quantities you won't mind the weaning. Just let me know the flavors and I will do my best. DH may be a hoarder, but I stock important stuff like nicotine.

You are a sweetheart, Val!!!!

Right now I vape 6mg during the day and around 8pm I switch over to 3mg of my favorite juice (BWB Dulce de Leche) until my bed calls me.

Good morning Reoville!

I hope your back to 100% soon. I was laid up with a bad back for over a year. So I sympathize. I didn't get the surgery to chicken to let them cut me open.

Oh, thank you so much for that link, Jen. EVERYBODY, you have to click that link and look at these awesome photos. I don't toss that word around as much as a lot of folks do, but they're so wonderful! I will be routing for you with all my might 'til you're back to %100, rock star Jen!
 Thanks, Becky...your praise makes me blush and giggle at the same time. I am such an amateur with the camera, and working with hand me down, point and shoot gear for a lot of the photos posted there. I never used anything better than a disposable camera until 2009 when the first poodle girl pranced into my life.

How are you now?
I was too chicken when I was 27 and surgery was first mentioned. Too chicken at 35 when it was brought up again. Actually, at 35 I was ready but not ready to take time off from my just starting to get good career. Now I'm ready, career or not, to be able to live my life a little more actively than I have been. You've been laid up, so you know.
