Thought for the day:

You start making progress in life when you realize that you don't always have to resume where you left off. ~Robert Brault

Speak for yourself Parma. I'm on page 187 @ 40 posts per page! I don't wear glasses but I'll probably need them when I'm caught up. Ya'll will know where I am because I am a serial-liker.

Good evening, REOville:)! OMG, RedhatPat, it's SO good to have you back!!

Congrats on mastering that ERA and ditching that miserable patch:vapor:! We're all missing a few of the Lounge regulars mightily, of course, but now all's a good bit more right in the REOworld .
Glad your surgery's all set up and you're getting prepped for it so smartly, Jen...two words: tuna casserole;).
Thanks for the video of the WAR, Lisa; love learning about things I know nothing about, and I liked the music, too. I'd wrongly thought it'd be largely choreographed. Eeks about Wayne actually hurting himself, though:ohmy:!
Seems like you're doing a lot better, Alice; sure hope that bug's total history now.
Fun revisiting the the tale of the mousie besting the kitty for a Trippy:p!
I taught my class of senior citizens at the church rec room today for the first time. Even though it's a far cry from being back in the classroom, it felt great! There were only seven students (feels kinda strange calling them that) this time, but I was told quite a few more are signed up and should be there for the rest of the class sessions (long vacations for the 4th and some other conflicting engagements for today).
For those of you still up, enjoy your evening; and I hope the rest of you are enjoying your slumbers:closedeyes:!

Hahaha....no, usually the choreographed fighting occurs at Renn Faires. These guys are brutal. But it's a lot of fun to watch and worry, feed and hydrate....the only downside is when someone gets hurt which does happen occasionally. Wayne has been hurt many times, but never as permanently as the shoulder injury. That one is a done deal, he'll never be able to fight righty again. But it's great to see a bunch of grown men (and women) get their 12 year old on! I'm sure you'd love the video with Disturbed in the background ....ohw...ah..ah..ah..ah..ah :headbang:
Sleep well, Becky. :)

So I'm outside on the porch in my wooden slide chair watching the ever changing painting that is tonight's sky. Too darn hot in the house...my fan fu has apparently been misplaced. So I'm keeping myself entertained.....kind of. hello?

Hi what is a fan fu? I use fans and live in a mobile home. It gets terrible hot and sometimes i stay on my porch :) It is cooler outside than inside especially starting in August.

Hi Maggie :)
Over the last week I've been using my mad fan fu skills in order to keep our house cool. I had it cooled down a few days ago, but for some reason today, I missed a key switch in fan directions as the sun moved from one side of the house to the other and the temp shot way up in here. Ugh....:laugh: now that the sun has set...the house is starting to cool off.

Might be up for a bit. Someone has been using a nail gun for the last 2 hours. Doesnt seem like its slowing down.

That blows...:( I'm glad I don't live 2 blocks to the west....last night after midnight someone was still using a jack hammer. Hope you get some rest.
