Various concoctions of Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Cantaloupe, Coconut and my very favorite is banana, cocoa powder and peanut butter. Flax seed or oats, Greek yogurt, honey and almond milk in all of them. They freeze great in ziplocks. A little zap in the microwave and then a spin in the blender.

Frigg'n down AC just went out. Rigg'n up 12 volt cooler. Archie's bringing ice bags. Luckily it's only hitting 95 today which means DH's corner will hit about 100 when sun hits that side of house. AC guy coming tomorrow afternoon.

Yet another excuse to go to the Oasis!!! Nice cool drink, perhaps some oysters, AC...

It's about noon here and only 99 degrees! It isn't even hot yet (because if we call under 100 hot, what will we call 114?)

The Oasis, the part we enjoy, is outside but usually a slight to gale force breeze off lake. It'll cool down to 90 when sun goes down. My 12 volt cooler is not working right. It's gonna take me at least couple of hours to clean up 120v roll around, bring in, build the fireplace insert to vent, if I'm lucky. All electronics in house really heat up inside and when sun hits DH's corner it's 10-15 degrees hotter than rest of house. I can handle the heat but DH can't. All I want tonight is quiet and no people around. I hope I can get him to a hotel tonight. We are both frigg'n mentally, spiritually, and physically exhausted!!!!

So... I'm sorry if this is rude or poor etiquette to post this here...

I just posted my EA mod in the classies, number 000249. The only reason I'm mentioning it in this thread is I have it for sale or trade for a Grand ;)

If any fellow REOnaut has any interest in it I'll sweeten the deal for ya :)

Quick update. The 12 volt emergency AC (freon tube runs through ice water with little pump and fan pushes cold air out) is not broken. The fan was barely running. I checked my 120v to 12v converter and it was only 5 amps. Pulled out one of my emergency batteries and they do 6.5 amps 12v or higher. Plugged it in and fan and pump going full blast. GLORY GLORY!!!!!!!! It'll be enough to keep spot cool DH.

Note to self..... Get converter that pushes more amps.
