Oh and did I mention....Guude eeevening everry one! That was a lot of pruning . Used shorty pruner and 7 footer about equal. About 2 hours each, doesnt seem like too much but when I tried to put my arms by my side they were stickin' up like I was turnin' myself in for sumthin'. Strange, cuz I didnt even do nothin. lol. (huge Festus Haggan fan) Ok I'm totally batty, shower & shave and quick boneless sparerib dinner with house lo mein. Gotta get up at 4 and do that overhead complex trim. Might be easier on the arms actually because you reach out more than up , plus fully articulating bucket. Most of it will be a/c powered Sawzall with 14" Demo Demon blades I hope. But I digress...I hope you're all having a wonderful evening. No catching up right now. Huggggs and dudely backslaps :)

Okay, this has to be the ultimate "testimony" for REO.

I felt like cleaning house on my vape stuff......and really went overboard.

NEVER since I began vaping would I suggest to anyone, or myself ---- not to have backup.

I mailed my REO mini off to Mom's up in NY so my bro could try it and I'm visiting there in 3 weeks so it will be there for me to use when I get there. (won't have to drag it thru an airport).

All I have in front of me is ONE REO 2.1. No egos, no backup (well, a few disposables in drawers). Am I worried? Not even a little bit. I have a rebuild kit and my 2.1 REO.

I honestly wouldn't do that with any other mod I've ever owned. I mean, I would not have even considered it. :)

I guess you can tell I'm sort of a minimalist. I dislike having a lot of "stuff" around me. The emptier my living space is, the happier I am. So now I'm reallly happy.

Good morning, REOville:)! I second Ed's wish that you all get in some Sunday R&R -

dog-cat.jpg

Loved those swan photos, Laurin! I knew you were a pro photographer, but I didn't know you were also the Swan Whisperer (c'mon, no zoom tricks on those closeups?); those feathery fiends are sure photogenic!
Even though my real allegiance is to mammals, Maggie, great image of you sitting on the porch taking a certain glee in watching fearless birds dive-bombing the neighborhood pets:laugh:.
How early did I say that car's as good as Smurf's already, Trunker? As I keep saying, don't worry - you'll reach that final phase of wife-stolen car grief, acceptance, soon enough! :p Hope it's not much trouble fixing the hole in your loo that's NOT her fault!

Wow! Four generations all gathered in Texas, Debbie? Hope you all make a load of terrific memories on this reunion!
Two more sleeps 'til Hawaii, Canuck! Unlike lucky Steve, I've only been there once, but it WAY exceeded my expectations. Do you plan on visiting any of the other islands while you stay in Oahu?
Lisa, you really managed to go from one paradise in the islands to another true paradise in that glorious stretch of nature where you're building your dream home:closedeyes:. Thank you, again, for the great shots. And Wayne's history with the spot makes it all the more special!
Between your nurse, Karen, Val, Alice, and me, you've gotten quite an earful about taking the rest and the meds that you need to heal right, Jen...And you're still Wonder Woman to all of us here! (And you'll be Wonder Woman in comfy shoes with those Merrels; I loved the pair I had...before I spilled paint all over them not long ago:facepalm:. Great tip, Scott!)
Alice, I overheard the secret you told Jen about your shoulder rotator:ohmy:...how is it/are you doing now?! I didn't realize you'd had quite so many GI troubles from such an early age. Being called a trooper by YOU makes me want to live up to that distinction more than I necessarily always do.
Speaking of shoulders on the mend, I sure hope Dave checks in again soon! You stay in my thoughts, Dave!
And it sounds like it's slowly but surely for you, Darrel...do you have Gatlin waiting on you like he should be?
Love hearing that someone's reached vape nirvana, Tripp:vapor:! Is your stomach bug history now?
Yay for another "I've seen the light" moment for you, salamastre, and welcome!
Um, I don't think you need ever apologize to "the ladies of REOville" for a bit of vulgarity, Kyle:laugh:!
On a totally unrelated note;), I LOVE how much fun you're having these days, Kay! Gotta say :toast: to that!
You've got me flossing up a storm lately, RHP; great to hear that you're totally pain-free now!
Johni, you win the title of first stomach growl of catch-up in REOville with your description of those country style ribs...you sure fit right in:drool:!
Racehorse, I hope you get another Reonaut in the family with your brother in NY! But, um, my great aunt never did give me back my OG Grand...so best wishes prying it back outta his hands if that's your intention;).
Ed Scissorhands, King of Pruning, just like I said I'm pro-loopy, I'm clearly pro-"totally batty", too...nice Festus Haggan impression:laugh:! Hope today's work does turn out to be a little easier on those arms...don't want you scaring off young children with arms like your former avi's:p!

Splendid Sunday vapes to all :vapor:!

Quick good morning to all of REOville!
Just got the bills paid (sort of) and am past my allotted sitting time, so back to the bed. Nook and phone are charging from the deadest batteries they have ever known. Feels like a great morning for some cartoons or a movie!

Have a fun Saturday everyone!

Oh yeah....I have been banned from my beloved reef flip flops and told to wear shoes with low backs on them, such as crocs. I know we had this discussion a while back when Scottie was going on shopping sprees. Could y'all throw a couple of links of your favorite shoes of such description my way? Thanks in advance!

Absolutely love these!, The men's version of course ;) They completely solved my 3 months of feet problems I was having. New Balance WT10 v2 Minimus Trail Women Shoe Bl/Pk

And if you need a budget option, a lot of research showed that surprisingly, a pair of typical $9.00 water shoes are actually very good for your feet. Flat heel, very little heel/toe drop and thin flexible soles that let your feet feel the ground beneath and work like they are supposed to. Just make sure the insole is nice and flat and has no bumps or irregularities to them.

My girl works with children for a living so she's always on her feet so every year I usually just buy her the most expensive thing at Lady Footlocker like nike airmax's or something. I wish I could say that was the best sneaker for an active woman but if it was then why does she always wear them out every year?

I'm with Jen here folks, toss me some recommemdations for daycare worker's feet that doesn't break the bank!

So very sorry for your loss. They are never with us long enough.

I wish I could remember the entire story my Cherokee Grandma used to tell us. The main part is that when we get to those gates, all the animals we have ever crossed paths with will be there to tell the story of how we treated them. Those of us that have kind and loving stories to be told will cross over surrounded by all the creatures we loved and were kind to. (And those that have unkind stories to be told go somewhere else, where they would be helpless to defend themselves against the same mistreatment they bestowed on helpless creatures)

I ramble on... just want to say my heart is with you and I'm sure the meadow by the gates will be full of rejoicing when that time comes.

Thanks for the link and info. I have to find a shoe with a low back, more like a mule, to slip into easily. I swear I used to see them everywhere, but now that I need them they seem to be pretty scarce. I'm leaning towards something like http://www.merrell.com/US/en-US/Mobile/Product.mvc.aspx/22906W It is more than I'd like to spend on shoes right now, but might as well bite the bullet and just do it. Never minded dropping that kind of dough on chef shoes, but am a cheapskate when it comes to everyday wear.

They were both AKC breed champions. Peanut (left) was always the leader, Morgan was the follower. Morgan would often nip at Peanuts heels telling her to slow down.

Besides being a great show dog, Morgan also knew all about being a dog.
