Good morning everyone. Have an oil change to do with the dimwit at work this morning I think I've been stuck with him to show him how to do a change in less than an hour he is a licensed mechanic and it takes him 5-8 hours for an oil change 
then have a traffic control test 
maybe I should fail it then I cant do traffic control

Good morning Reoville!
I was awakened early this morning by thunder n lightning, strong winds, and hard rain so I quickly warmed up some left over coffee and sat on my porch enjoying it...not a drop of rain touched me!Then I watched the Yankee game that I'd pre-recorded...today's gonna be a lazy day! yesterday the Fedex man delivered a queen and a single bed frame so I spent a long time and a lot of energy taking care of that. Come to discover that the bed with both the queen size box spring and pillow top mattress on top of the box spring made it stand app. as high as my chest...would have need a step stool to get up in bed and probably would have broken a leg trying to get out of it the next morning! So I had to get the mattress and box spring off and propped up against the wall and do it all over again. Then I had the fun of getting the box spring, which i'm not using, out of the bedroom and down the hall. It's now propped against the wall in the hall till i can find someone who wants it. Wore myself plumb out yesterday!But the single was a piece of cake.
Hope every one is doing good. I'm staying in my caftan ALL DAY!

Morning all!! Heading to Kinder, La. for a Quarter horse sale. He does the horse thing and I am placed in a casino. ugh. I would rather spend money on Reo, cotton balls and wire than to feed slot machines or watch a ball run around a table and never land on my numbers! Just occasionally I win enough for the trip. Mostly NOT! Wish me luck.

We finally found a place we can stay until our place is remodeled from the fire. It is actually our Landlord's Brother's rental house we will be in. So we should be in fairly good hands at his place.
The last tenants he had there really tore the place up... The good part is there is fresh paint, carpeting, windows, and appliances there.
The new place was turned into a double and we have the first floor, could not deal with a second floor and stairs. Hips, knees, and ankles are weak, and the screwy discs in my do not help any of it with nerve twinges.
They are estimating three months to a year until our old place will be ready to live in again. And our Landlord's Brother (guess I should be calling him our Landlord now) has no problem with us coming in knowing that it could be temporary.
Only thing is we may really like this place and decide to stay there. Problem is he has no washer hookup at the house
