I just responded to you on the thread....I think you'll be disappointed with my answer.

At the shore...
Just walk around with a one-iron on your head Pat, as Lee Trevino said "even God can't hit a one-iron"!

T

If not mistaken, I believe he was hit twice.

A bit of personal trivia -- I went on one date w/Trevino many moons ago. He, at the time, was in-between wives. He only married women named, "Claudia." hahaha

We had breakfast at the Doral Country Club with Jerry VanDyke and his wife.

Well today's classic belongs to HRH - who decided to fix herself some noodles for lunch...

"is that your Reo?" "what?" "that burning smell?"

It really helps if you microwave noodles if you at least add some water to them. I have said nothing!

T

hahahahaha

Maybe you should cook the noodles. No knife needed

Of course not hun, or I'd be ECFing from the burn unit. But it's flattering that you're actually concerned. I thought the only folks who would miss me if I Moved On would be the local police's softball league since my speeding tickets probably paid for their new uniforms over the years.

May I respond now? Or do you have something else you'd like to add? ;)

Actually, you can get struck by lightning and not end up in a burn unit or a morgue. Squatting while out in the open is your best position during a lightning storm. Ahhhhhhh....everyone would miss you. Or at least most of us. :p

Here you go:

http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletters/Harvard_Health_Letter/2010/August/storms-a-comin

"..And if you're in an open area, don't stand near an isolated tree or group of trees that could attract a strike. Instead, find a low-lying area and assume the "lightning position": squatting with feet together and hands over the ears to protect against acoustic trauma. Gatewood and Zane said kneeling or sitting cross-legged would also be okay, since squatting can be uncomfortable."

Hangover from nic coma and stuff like realizing you have pristine woodvils when all along ya thought they were paperweights, so yeah I was jazzed up (in a geeky way) but there's other things at play here. First off, the weather is BEAUTIFUL today in amish country compared to the day before where REOville almost lost me to a lightening strike (I wish I was joking, folks).

thanks to you, i'm having dreams that all my metals turned into Woodvils. mornings are a real bummer :)

i'm pretty blase about earthquakes, but lightning kinda freaks me out thanks to a night spent huddling on some godforsaken mountain. be careful...

Well, unfortunately, after you order the tip disappears from the website. You'll have to wait until it arrives.
I've NEVER had a prob with TTs fitting. I DID however have that problem with another company's pyrex tips all the time. In their defense, other REOnauts used these aforementioned pyrex tips and never had a problem.

I'm awed by the beauty of the TTs. That's why I go back to them.

Christina...I, too, have a TT. It fits perfectly.
