The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
It's called mine

I don't know, we will have to wait for the resident guru to tell us.
I know my mech woodville's have names, but I am wondering if these new 18650 VVW's have been named and if anyone recognizes them?

ETA: DH got home and picked MINE up and I said, "Nope, yours is the other one." He doesn't argue the point and instead picks up his and says, "Wow, this is really nice." Well played DH, well played. :D

Val there is no such thing as a VVW 18650 :D its either a 18650 18490 14500 0r vv which takes 2 18350's I hope you have the right batts for it either way

You are correct. I do have the right batteries, I stole them from the VVG's.

I don't leave batteries in them when not in use, and since my Grand seldom leaves my hand that is most of the time. It remains to be seen whether DH will like the VVW better than his mini.

Damn those stacked 18350's look like a good size, are they a bit bigger or a bit smaller than a 18650?
Darrel's right. 18650 is a form factor, doesn't have to be rechargeable or even lithium-based.

The battery code are supposed to be it's dimensions...

18350 is 18mm by 35mm
18490 is 18mm by 49mm
18500 is 18mm by 50mm
18650 is 18mm by 65mm

Beware tho that the sizes vary, have a look around and you'll see that some of the big capacity 18650's are longer than 65mm, so might not fit in your mod.

Not fair. I was so looking forward to a new tattoo and now I must wait years

hi, my day for dumb questions...... what is a jig?
:)
In metalworking and woodworking, a jig is a type of custom-made tool used to control the location and/or motion of another tool. A jig's primary purpose is to provide repeatability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the manufacturing of products

I'm sorry but I haven't followed along, so I'd say if your woodvil is an 18650 version than yes you are totally good with those batteries you ordered, the important thing is that they are AW IMR so, yeah relax :)

RHP

Oh geez thanks... you had me really scared there.. yeah I only use AW IMR's :D

And the zero at the end means round cell. Ie a round battery :)

I don't have any here to measure but I'm pretty certain they are 1 mm longer than the 1600's. They are fine size wise. They apparently aren't as high amp output as the 1600's so not so good for lower ohm Atties.
