I was taught to share  flu shots kill me or about as close as you can get. Every time I've had one I've two days later been in the hospital close to death.

Sounds like you have an allergy to whatever they inject the virus into to develop antibodies that are then extracted to give in flu shots. (very simplistic explanation) Horses are used as are eggs. Most, if, not all, reactions to vaccines are due to this. Many vaccines are killed virus so you can't catch the disease from them.

Note on dish I did tonight. The roasted squash seeds, by themselves, were great, but tossed into squash, they absorbed too much moisture and hulls became tough. DH really like the "dish" but requested more Romano cheese next time (for when I make it for me). I promised I wouldn't cook for him any more after I got my feelings hurt a couple weeks ago.

DH is off tomorrow. We're looking for a real Imax/3D to go see "Gravity." For sure will go to one of our favorite quaint outdoor patio restaurants if anywhere near downtown Dallas. Medicinal cinnamon toast a for sure. I won't drive... for a couple of days after. Jack approved.

Darrel, so sorry for flu Sheets. Have your DW check out Amantadine. It's works to kill or subdue Type A, only, flu/cold virus. We keep it always and take it whenever we feel something coming on or exposed to to cut short flu/cold type A viruses. We take it at first sign of any exposure or symptoms. I'm very susceptible to cold/flu viruses, like a magnet, although DH isn't. He brings them home to me. But, at his age, we don't take any chances. Virtually no side effects. Cold and flu viruses are especially dangerous for me as I get brain swelling. Years of testing and "they" still don't know why it happens. I get near coma and can't function or walk for days. DH has to hire someone to come in to care for me when I get a flu that doesn't respond to the anti-viral.

We wait to get flu shots till end of Oct so they'll last through Spring break out.

I almost forgot to check my mail today. Got called back to work early to save their rear's again. Managed to check it as I was pulling out and had double vape mail although I just got it opened, I got my NET's from Vash and my new covers for my 2 grand's from Karen! What a great set of vape mail. Only thing that could top those two would be another REO in the mail box! lol I'll get pics up tomorrow and of course a trial run of the NET's from Vash then as well. Off to bed gotta get an early start tomorrow. Night everyone.

Love it. DH called me the Ghost in the Attic or Attic Vampire for decades until our friend moved in and took over. (Master bedroom upstairs was my computer lab.) He still calls me the Vampire because I keep "dark" hours and move about so quietly he never knows where I am. We had walkie/talkies until we got decent cell signals out here, even for in the house.

That's a very pricey knife very nice.

Good evening everyone. Came home at 12:30 today still fighting this flu :( maybe go buy some pepto bismol tonight see how that helps :)
As with all hobbies and things in life, you've got your budget friendly, you've got items that meet the price versus quality aspect, and then you've got items where you're paying for the name, customs, better fit and finish, and sometimes art aspect.

:) I try not to bring price into anything I talk about. It's all relative. My one knife is at the same retail value as one of your Reos. We all have what we like to collect and prioritize (?) over other items.

This is not an argument or calling you out at all. It's just to put things into perspective. :)

On a side note, you might be surprised at the prices of knives out there (especially customs). :p

Please get well soon! Best wishes!! :)

That's a nice piece. Form AND function!
:) Thank you.

I don't recognize the knife but I do love that green! Don't think anything will ever replace my Benchmade 9050 though.
It's a Mcusta :)

Surprisingly, I own an Emerson, a Mayo, and a few Spydercos and stuff... But I go back to the mini grip more often than not. The size is right. And the blade shape and grind lends to the most all around fitting for daily tasks.

Good morning, REOvil! I know nothing at all about knives. I only have one, but have been taught how to use it and was told it is the only one I will ever need. ;)

Happy Tuesday, REOvil!

Fingers crossed for Azzaman's first surgery being a great success!

Congrats on your first REO, Trouble! That was quick!

Welcome home, Ed! Glad to hear you finally got some much deserved R&R!
