Do you folks know if Rob ever offers a Mini in tumbled raw finish? The original Mini..
I was asked by a woman who is interested in a REO mod, prefers using 14500 mods, and REALLY liked the look of the tumbled raw Grand she saw on the site.

I have used a grand as my daily mod for about 6 months solid now - it's fabulous - it takes all the beatings at work (hit the concrete about a dozen times i suppose) and works unerringly well always.
When i started vaping i didn't start with a Reo and drops resulted in broken tanks and general misery and expense. My black grand with an RM2 and ss driptip is pretty much indestructible and i wish i had known about them when i started.

i have a raw grand Statistic and i'd advise going for something with a more durable finish - the raw finish is very vulnerable to scratches and i have mine covered with one of Karen's delightful covers to protect it from my usual ravages.
Maybe a hammered finish is better?

I have one that I polished. It looks great. All colors are susceptible to showing dings. The silver is probably the best but even it will show I know as my silver grand is rough
Yeah I don't know.. she browsed the site and decided the raw tumbled was what she liked. I'd only order a raw one if I planned to polish it or have it custom finished. I was just curious if he even offers the original minis in tumbled raw as they are not listed on the site but at this point in my REOnaut-ness I am aware that there are sometimes more options than what Rob puts on the site
I probably should just tell her to email or call him

The polished ones.. speak to my heart.. LOL. They look so good and I don't care if they are fingerprint and scuff magnets!! lol. If I ever end up polishing one I will have to sew up a micro-fiber pouch for it to live in

I dread the day it happens but I'm sure mines gonna get dinged up. I've dropped every mod I own a few times already. Though, the REO can't roll off of my toolbox at work. lol
Around here the cow, chicken and pig smells combine for a nice fragrance only country folks can appreciate.

All kidding aside, you have a beautiful place Bob...reminds me of upnorth.
I got to watch the Yankee/RedSox game anyway! There's a big flatscreen in the downstairs library another tenant told me about, he had to fine the remote for me as it was on the top of a 6 ft. plus bookcase or, I'd never have found it.I only caught the last three innings but they were great! Tomorrow Comcast is bringing another DVR box to me and they're going to redo the cable coming out of the wall...it's in the dining room! How ......ed is that! And it's about a foot n a half up the wall and the plastic plate it's sticking out of is all loose...i can just see me getting out of that chair, hookin my foot in the cable ...and then disaster!I trip n stumble on perfectly smooth flat, uncluttered surfaces as it is...

When DW and I were thinking of moving farther up island we looked at buying an old church and property to convert to a house woulda been kinda different.

I used to bowhunt, I loved sitting up in the tree watching the deer...that's all i got to do cuz I could never get a clear shot!
