Yeah you can ignore justic, val, and all the other rba knuckleheads since they're highly medicated at this hour. When or IF you're ever ready to dive into rebuilding, then it'll pay off to know them. Until then, background noise  Just nod your head or click like so they settle down making you feel inferior because you're not using an rm2 or fieldstripping a Reo Grand yet :)

Ha! I am NOT medicated at ALL, except maybe some nicotine. I even turned down a glass of wine for some stupid reason.

And that sheet was funny "my dear" :D

ETA: but the knee is crying. I did some exercises that it didn't like one little bit. Seeing as how YOU think I should be medicated, I may just take an Advil and see how that does me. Watch out world, Val is gonna medicate!

I'm 35 and I haven't had a glass of wine in my life. It's on my bucket list though, right alongside learning the Piano, becomming intimately familiar with classical music, and becoming an FM, IM, or even GM at chess. I'm saving the whole wine & cheese exploration for when I'm retired and on vacation or something like that. I wanna do it right.

RHP, how could you NEVER have had a glass of wine at the ripe old age of 35?

According to my family, I stole my first one as soon as I could toddle up to the glass and snatch it before they could stop me. I apparently liked it, because during some to-do my parents had I managed to drain quite a few glasses before they caught on.

I'm Roman Catholic so come to think of it maybe I have tried wine before but not a glass full of the stuff :p I guess it all boils down to availability when you we were young. Sadly it was easier to get your hands on grass and hard liquor than wine in Junior High and High School for me.

Then later on I guess I associated it as a woman's drink. Then after that I realized it was a culture thing. Which type and brand of wine plus the year it was bottled best compliments a certain meal.

So I thought I'd learn it from the ground up during the twilight of my life hopefully by then I'll have a lot more money than I do now, and god willing, a family. I'm just not there yet, folks.

I had alcohol poisoning when I was a kid during my experimenting phase.

It was the summer, I was in Rosario, Argentina visiting my grandmother. We lived in the city and the legal drinking age was really low, like 16.

They left me alone in the house for a day, I bought a 2 extra tall six-packs of beer, a bottle of champaign, some bottle of fruit-flavored thick orange vodka, and a bottle of scotch. Turned on some music and rocked out drinking it all down like water until I started to feel the blood in my veins boiling.

Big blur after that..

...woke up with needles in my arm, in what looked like a third-world country hospital room. I was 14-16 at the time.

ETA: I guess that's why I choose cigarettes over booze as my drug of choice. Thanks to REOs I've turned my drug of choice from smoking cigarettes into vaporizing flavorful nicotine.

I don't get a buzz from it, but the knee might stop complaining as loudly. I ended up taking a generic naproxen so we will see how that works out for me. I *tried* to do some knee bends earlier today, but that didn't go so well. The leg is so very weak, sore and atrophied no matter what I do. I will just keep trying until the darn thing builds enough muscle to hold me. I think I have more scar tissue than muscle at this point though

Champagne is a sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France. See, you HAVE had wine. I knew it. You just didn't bother with the glass

No wonder you never tried it again, you are lucky to be alive after that guzzling!

I was lucky to take some knocks early in life. That stupid stunt probably saved me from becomming an alcoholic down the line especially with my personality but it almost cost me my life . But Marlboros really got their hooks in me at an early age (99 cents a pack and a sympathetic gas-station clerk) and it's been my only real crutch in life.

I've compromised by changing the delivery of it to vaping but I don't think I'll ever be able to become nicotine-free sometimes. And I'm cool with that. I just hope I'll get a few extra years of life by dropping the analogs, that's all.

Because no one who smoked as much as me will be able to walk away unscaved. Hell, cancer took peter jennings out in less than 6-months and he had quit for 22-years!

Lomb, get a VVG from reosmods, lots of aw imr 18350's from RTD or Provape, and a bunch of 1.7ohm mini cartomizers from reosmods. Just add juice to the 6ML bottle, screw in the carto, turn the knob all e way to the left (lowest setting 3.5v), turn on the VVG switch, and squonk away while sucking to prime the carto, then when it's primed fire it up!

VVG - http://www.reosmods.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=29&Itemid=3
