DH too tired last night although 10 hr day today but doesn't have to go in till 1000 tomorrow. On one of the patios of Matt's El Rancho restaurant, that DH frequented while a student at UT in 50's, Austin. 30 minute wait was only 15. He wanted to eat inside. The noise is deafening. Patio was nice with big fountain, cool, vaping, and no risk of damaging hearing.

they are so light compared to my old boots these have composite toes and shank instead of steel. I doubt they will last as long but that's ok.

Timberland pro series they are no where as rugged as my usual Vibergs but they are so light like runners
and less than half the price so I dont expect to get longevity out of them

I might have to check them out. My Red Wing's are getting a bit ragged. The railroad kicks in for half of my boots so I tend to try quite a few

My $600 boots are also 5+ years old and still good they just need new soles badly and I dont have any other summer boots for sending the good ones in so I had to get a set going to buy another set of Vibergs just cant do it now

Morning REOfans and fam. Welcome to the weekend. Have been enjoying the coolest August I can ever remember here in the devil's armpit we call Oklahoma. Hope it lasts and means we will actually have more then 2 weeks of autumn.
