I decided to go into work today to get a head start on next week's work - since i was off last week! I am mortified by what did NOT get done! I was only there for an hour an a half before the inevitable shopping list got Skyped to me (!!) so i think tomorrow, i shall have to be a meaner Trunker than normal.

The above is precisely why i dislike taking any time off - i always go back to chaos.

Anyway - happy Sunday - and once more, i dodged Summer Bible School!

Good evening, REOville:)! Does the mention of the didgeridoo from sashie's video make anyone else remember your old tube mod days:p?

And here's the song he sampled in the middle -

Cool video, sashie! Headaches have kept me from posting much, never did say happy one-year smoke-free anniversary to Trunker and Smurf...did you get her that drip tip that sashie found yet, Trunker? Also, never said how thrilled I am to hear the great report from your first check-in with your doc, Jen - :toast: to longer walks and your recuperation coming along so well. Congrats to your son, Karen! Great to hear of your very unusual glorious weather, Rob:2cool:. Welcome to the Lounge, Batfan and UKPaul:). Good to see you come around again, Frank, and also fun to see TennDave. Sure would love to see our other Dave. Keeping him in my thought; and you and your family are there, as well, Mike. No notes at all 'til I get this elephant off of my head:p, but I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day with some seriously satisfying Sunday evening vapes :vapor:!

My issue with that drip tip is using shrink wrap at the base of it to make it fit. That looks like a nightmare to me in the heat here. So no. It it had an o-ring or two - then i'd have gone for it.

i did buy myself a new one though! from molehill mountain and handsome it looks on my not-a -reo!

I'm not a great collector of driptips - i break a lot because i am clumsy and glass ones will really not do for me, however much i like them. I have one Kay gave me from Bert and it does not leave my desk for that reason.

Most of mine are either steel = don't care or delrin=doesn't matter.

Ooh, those molehill mountain ones are so lovely...but if there's no Smurf drip tip vaperversary gift for DJ Smurfie, that really only leaves your car, I'm afraid. Tough break...if not for that missing o-ring:?:...

her driving bit of the test - the easy bit since she's Dutch is Sept 9th. They drive on the right hand side of the road there too, so when i came here first - the car was an automatic and i pressed an imaginary clutch and with my left hand went to change gear and the window opened a little!

Then it's bye car and i shall just commandeer a work truck as is my right!

Teflon tape would work perfect. If ya get the stuff for natural gas it's easier to work with as its thicker. I had bad threads on one of my reos from being dropped too many times and it worked wonderfully.

Good evening everyone. Dw is in grocery store while I sit in truck with sleeping Gatlin. Poor bugger is popping molars and has bit of a cold. He tries to be happy but can only take so much. Hope alls well with y'all :)

Good evening Fine REO Folk. Feisty has been pushed beyond her limit for humans by and animals. I'm implimenting avoidance by working all night and sleeping in a cave during day. *******, begins with F everyone and thing. Break any more of my stuff and you will pay by my ground rules when I'm civil enough to lay them out to you. Moe Doodle is banned to back yard and it's his responsibility to keep from getting eaten by cats or coyote pack. That's how far they all have pushed me. DH scolded Sissy last night for her constant, extremely annoying attention seeking behavoir and vocalizations. She's been gone since morning. So I've returned outside for a bit and then back to a closet to assemble a metal shelf unit for chargers that will be over safe in storm closet...... if I don't throw the 50 pieces through the wall.

Hope all are less agitated and mean than Feisty.

DH just came out and scolded me for making Moe stay right outside the deck gate and then stormed in and slammed door. My maybe unreasonable thinking is it might make him, Moe, more likely to appreciate coming in when called. He's always been the third best (Jake and Curly always come) to go in. They were being triple wildlings tonight and Jake Mastiff even got his head hung in fence twice. Tonight Moe refused to come when the others came. Okay, I had to go get Curly on lead and Lily but at least they didn't refuse to have lead put on.

I'm to the point of not giving a sheetz about anything. Let more of the frigg'n ceilings cave in from leaks, the pool and hit tub become a swamp, f r I g the holes in fence and so many other things. F r I g snake bites and dogs can die. F r I g all the other things needed to keep business and house running. Repairs, so badly needed?????? I'm close to even caring at all. Sorry I had plumbing issues fixed and sorry I got DH his hot water in kitchen. Next time big water heater (bathroom) breaker shuts off I'm going to forget what to do. Just a small sampling. I'm just about to the end of giving a sheet.

Sissy and I had a pleasant chat about her day. She found me in closet. Shelf all together and no tantrums. She spent first part of day at church, then library, and then the evening with The Boyz (long story about them). I didn't tell her to not let Moe in so he's in. I'll give him another chance to be banned in morning. Now have to move stuff and safe and attach shelf unit to wall. It's cheapo but all metal and few things to burn if a charger goes bonkers. (It's our tonado closet, under stairs, so mostly emergency power and supplies, batteries, radios, battery TV etc., and electric water heater. When we have a sustained tornado threat I cut the breaker to WH and drain the hot water out via spigot through outside wall.

Guess I'll be sleeping inside tonight as I don't have to guard Moe.

I owe the metal shelf idea to Darrel, Justice. Thanks Dude.

What a day you had, Moe seems stubborn like my dog Ginger. Hope you're feeling better now that you installed the shelving :)
