Good evening, folks. Well, we've wrapped up another production and the books go to press early tomorrow morning. 104 pages...that is a record for me. All I can hope for is no emergency issues. These Mondays (only one each month) are the worst....sitting on the edge of the chair stressing over incoming emails all day. Good times. The silver lining is that I'm going back to the chiropractor tomorrow afternoon for another adjustment.

But at least now I've got some time to catch up on the forum. Did you know that I'm behind by 7 pages of threads....not the lounge....threads? Holy cow...you guys can chat it up.

Great minds....
Hi lovely...well, not for some time yet. Got a couple of days to relax a little but still need to field calls, update website and prepare for distribution. We start on Wednesday. but I am hoping for at least one day next weekend for jammies and one day in the woods. I got a new pack for my camera and need to go put it to use. The week after that though is all down time. And I have no idea what were going to do. We just about have all the bids in for site work, flat work, paint and some other things. Once the bids are in, the bank gives the budget approval and we hit the go button. So I'm betting we'll be up there working on the property that week.

Watering some plants and getting my least favorite pool sweep going which entails going down below deck with creepies a few times. Working on house, and outside, through night, and will go upstsirs to my cave after DH and Sissy up in a.m. and sleep through day to avoid humans and dogs. Have to get a certified letter off first, a trip to PO, because Sissy may .......* it up. Just remembered I can do it via machine in PO lobby so may head out in a bit.

I vant to be alone. That way I can be nicer when I have to be civil with living beings.

Swinging rubber hose at door and threatening words and stance has has profound results. When have open back door they all retreat 20 ft. Only one I've made solid contact with is Rosie Heeler. Be lieve me...... I've tried all of the civil doggie whisperer and Gloria tricks..... Difficult to control an excited mob of wildling canines. Off to the wilds.

Haven't installed yet but getting it assembled major. All is quiet in house, human wise. I used to work outside with floods and sleep in hot tub from dawn to 1100 but DH requested I not do that any more as he's feeling more vulnerable about losing me to falling asleep and drowing. 26 years and I haven't drowned yet but he's more aware of how lost he would be if I "slipped away. " Although my track record for not drowing is impeccable.

Sitting here in "the closet" I have hanging a leather razor sharpening strap that was my great grandfather's. I need to locate the field mirror and display them with my paddles when I do a "smok'n" video. Old REOnauts will be familiar with Feisty's paddles.

Grandfather, paternal, was one of four brothers who survived the Spanish Anerican War. Great grandfather, his father, died in 1888. I have a table he built from scrap wood pile oak scraps.

Five Bubs blocking my way out of closet. All they crave is being at my feet unless they are being wildlings. I've been too permissive because they are so cooperative almost all of the time. Time for some serious training.

When I had full time help and much fewer responsibilities and work load all dogs were trained to AKC Utility level (and beyond). I've gotten complacent.

It doesn't help that pack is so stable. Lessens need to be more dominate with human rules as most pack rules are already in place. We stay out of pack adjustments that involve dogs. They have been pushing the back door thing for a while. Today was first time I couldn't round them up from back.
