VS Packers not going to be easy when playing against Rogers.
DH has family in Wisconsin, but he isn't home so there is absolutely NO fun in rooting against them today. But since you like SF, that gives me a good enough reason to root against them
Can you tell that for me sports is no fun if you don't have a rivalry going on?

It was dental work (getting teeth pulled) that derailed my DH from vaping - he said it felt better for him to smoke, and even though it's been a year, he has never completely got back into switching over.
I have no problem sleeping propped up - I fall asleep on the couch stretched out on the couch very often - and sleep wonderfully, until I wake up and try to get back to sleep in bed. That's where I have problems getting back to sleep.

I'm not a football fan, but my husband is. We live in 49er country, but he has been a Vikings fan since he was 12. We've been married for 31 years (and were together for 6 years before that), so I've been through a lot of superbowls where the Vikings played, but lost. At least he has gotten more mature about it over the years

Good Day Fine REO Folk. Busy day being cook and bottle washer with a tiny bit of "chef" thrown in. Have a 15 lb slab of pork that needs cutting down with one good sized piece, loin, for tomorrow night, Val's instructions, rest small roast and some thick chops, for freezer. And two bags of COSTCO onions to slow cook, some for freezing for later carmelizing and some for later tonight Val's easy onion soup. DH was so disappointed I didn't have it ready for last night.
Costo and Albertsons didn't have "fresh" gulf tuna so can't do Jen's grilled tuna. Will call central market and Whole foods tomorrow and hope DH will stop by one if they have it.
Way to go Deb and Jen. Jen, it was in low 80's last night with day high only 102.
so maybe we are leaving extreme summer and beginning summer.DH and I work in Austin in a couple of weeks. We drive by West, Jen. Maybe he'll let me stop on way back for some amazing Kaloches. Sissy will be here to doggie sit.
Sissy arriving tomorrow night with her new love Finn the English setter. Should be interesting acclimating him into our pack. He's pretty laid back which will help. But it will be so late we may have to whisk him upstairs to "no doggie zone" and do introductions next day.

Of course any respectable Texan has to love our poor Cowboys and Texans but the first team Texans wooped a** on the 2nd string Cowboys last week. So It's anybodies guess how tonight will go Giants at Cowboys. Going to delay watching so won't be in Lounge for fear of game discussion. It's a small dilemma when Boys play one of my other favorites, GB, Texans, Patriots but not serious enough to spoil the fun. I like the Giants, too, some of the time.
