I called Rob last night and slicked him into telling me that much...he said he was a bit ill with the flu else I wouldn't have gotten away with it! And I know it's a red one of some sort...Oh, a small red one cuz it uses 18490 batts... oh I love detective-ing!!!!

But I hate using patience!!!

Gonna go look at the Timeline sticky...maybe I can deduce exactly which one it is....

Hi Gang! I'm coming to you live from a lovely campground nestled on 500 in the foothills of the Berkshires. I'll post some pics tomorrow. My aircard signal is a bit weak here but I think I can manage. Had a blast reading all your adventures from the past couple days. Glad Jen checked in, that would have wrecked my weekend. Miss you all! Hugggggs and backslaps......

'Nother round of big Ed hugggggs for all our gals, just cuz I can...muahaahaa

I still have several pages to read to catch up around here!

We had a bit of excitement here at the house earlier today. Fortunately, every thing is OK, but it reminded me again of how I can be fine while a crisis is happening, but then fall apart afterwards. I have the two little guys here today - the 1 year old was sleeping in the bedroom down the hall, the 2 year old was playing in the living room. I had had the heater on for a little bit earlier in the morning, but it was off. All of a sudden I hear a "whoosh" and then it smells like something is burning, over by the end of the hall by the heater. I grab the 2 kids, my purse with my ipad and phone, my laptop, and my dog's collar and take them all outside. I see what looks like smoke from under the eaves above the bathroom window, so I call 911. We had 1 motorcycle cop, 2 cop cars, 2 fire engines in front of the house and one several doors down in front of the fire hydrant. I put my dog in the car, was holding the littlest guy, and chasing the 2 year old around to keep him in the yard and out of the house or the street. The firemen checked everything - no fire present, but they did agree that it was smoky and burnt smelling in the house. So most likely it was dust in the ducts that may have caught on fire and then burned out.

Fortunately one of my son-in-law's works in HVAC, so he's going to check it this evening when he comes to pick his son up. Most likely the heating system should be replaced - it's probably about 50 years old. He thinks that he and one of his buddies whom he works with can do it as a side job, for a lot less than calling out a company. It's a good think I'm all set on Reo's, RM2's, nic juice and flavorings - I think all my November spending is going to be on a new furnace.

 Oh my goodness! Good on ya for keeping it together...and for falling apart later when you had time. I think I need to go clean the basement around the dryer now.
So glad everyone is okay and your house is still standing.

Definitely a plus the house is still standing without any noticeable damage! Also, I was grateful for the good response from the police and fire personnel. Well worth our tax money, in my opinion.

Howdy Reo peeps!

I hope everyone is doing well. Another eventful week is coming to an end tomorrow. TGIF!:) It would be nice to not run around with my hair on fire(no pun intended Moon) for just a little while. The boy has soccer and cross country going on now and my little girl is in gymnastics. I'm always running!

I come in here to regain my sanity, so thank you guys!

I think sports and other similar activities for our kids wear out the parents more than the kids!
