i don't usually eat breakfast so Saturdays are a treat for me. I prefer my bed to rushing to eat, so i laze till the last minute - then get up - vape, shower, dress and out to work. I have a strict routine, one coffee and my checklist: phone - Reo - spare reo, computer, spare batteries, keys, car keys and gone!

When HRH is out of morning-grizzly-bear mode we'll go shopping for groceries and i need some new socks; then i suppose i'll mooch in to work for a bit.

Good luck saving an 18350 Pat. An 18350 in the charger is worth two in the bush. I might bet my dumb smart phone in the mail today. NOt as exciting as getting a Reo but its the little things....

My brother and I went to see the new Indian motorcycles yesterday. They are doing a national roll out campaign. THey are driving a semi-truck around the USA to various dealers. They let people ride them, caress them etc. I like this cool blue one with real tan leather saddle bags. They are very retro looking bikes using the looks of the old Indians but with modern tech.

Saturday morning the family gets together to go to breakfast at mom and dads house. They are in their mid 80s. Breakfast is highly regulated event. Each breakfast always includes 3 pieces of way over fried bacon, fried so much if it drops it shatters into millions of pieces. Mom says she has to get the fat out. Two fried eggs that have been dropped into a fry pan on high so it sounds like quenching horse shoes at a blacksmiths shop. Outside of egg is browned crisp, white inside runny (yuck). Toast that has been pretoasted, then placed under a bowl to make sure it stays warm but gets soggy as hell, and slathered with something thats not butter. 4.384958 ounces of orange juice included. Seating is assigned for some unknown reason. Sounds yummy doesn't it. We go because its good to be together and they enjoy and look forward to it. Taking over the cooking wouldn't feel right because they need to feel independent and fully functional and taking that away from aging parents doesn't seem right. I think this is pretty common these days with people of my generation.

Sounds great!
My Dad built a new kitchen table a couple of years ago, rectangle instead of the round table I grew up with (and now own) It is still weird to me because the whole seating arrangement is off. For over thirty years I had an assigned seat and now it is all willy nilly...sit wherever you want.

HRH did not feel well, so she has taken to her bed and sent me to do the shopping alone. I like shopping alone, it's faster. In, out and get it packed away as fast as possible; which reminds me of something else now i think about it.

Anyway - time for some tea before a quick trip to work. Productive day so far!

@lizardnipples: You should make a line of juice, perhaps under another alias. Call it Lizard's Milk. Only the Reonauts will know... We'll all know. :)

Hmmm...I do DIY. I'll have to come up with something that fits. If it's a hit you can be my marketing director.:)

Can one o' you clarify the forum rules for giveaways (GAW) here? I can't seem to find the answer to my question in the forum rules. Before I PM a mod or anything, just figured to ask you all.

Do we HAVE to post in the forum-wide GAW section or can we hold giveaways in the individual maker forums if we've got permission? I've got a couple bottles of stuff and convention swag I'd like to host giveaways for, but I'd like to limit it to just the Reo forum since that's the only place I hang out and where I'm comfortable doing so.

Thanks! :)

:D And now I'm off to a knife show!

And, "Good morning, Reoville!"

Good morning, everyone! :)

If you have permission, I believe you can do it in a supplier forum, otherwise you have to use the other one. But I'll double check to be sure....we've had a few giveaways...one sponsored by us (reos) and the rest sponsored by folks here in the forum.
