hey there Karen hows your weekend going i see you guys talking bout a heater you stayin warm ?

Hi Scott! Yes! Had sun shinning in great this morning. The heater has been running some. Nice and toasty in here.

Good morning or afternoon everyone. Hope you are all having a good weekend. I've got to spend some time at the house with the family this weekend.

It is sure nice to hear you got home time this weekend! Be safe and careful out there!

When we moved into our house, I wanted a fireplace. My wife did not. We got a house that had a fake fireplace that ran off of propane. After doing the research on it, we removed it, and put in a high efficiency wood stove. That first winter we had 20 degree temps for 2 solid weeks. (It never got above 20). We turned off our furnace, had windows open and the patio door open and were still roasting through that entire time. Made a believer out of us. For a cord and a half of wood, we have heat for the entire winter. Yes, it does require more effort than turning up the thermostat, but it is sure worth it. The heat that comes from it is better than that from the furnace as well. The best part is that there is no electric costs, other than the ceiling fans we run to circulate the air.

I use to live in mother-in-law quarters in my daughter and family's house. House had propane for heat. We purchased a add on wood furnace. What a difference! Son-in-law got free wood from his landscaping work. That thing really did heat much better. Just had to use the propane furnace on the extreme cold days. It was a very old farm house and not insulated well. And it was huge! High ceilings too!

I am just renting now and can only do so much to cut heating costs.

Does this mean you will be home tonight for the WD??? If so, we can talk about it! It is going to get GOOD tonight after they laid out the whole season's theme in the first one! There is a zombie loose in cell block D with a bunch of sleeping peeps, someone is feeding the outside walkers, the water is infected and the spoilers say they are leaving the prison after tonight's episode. "Stuff and things" are gonna hit the fan (pun intended).

lol No sadly I have to be in Topeka, KS by morning so I have to leave right after dinner. You have no idea how much that sucks for me having to leave an hour before it comes on. But if I don't I'd have to drive way late. It's a 5.5 hour drive from here to there.

Okay then. I will keep my mouth shut about anything WD related so I don't accidentally leak whatever it is that needs talking about. And I am sure there will be a LOT happening tonight! They sure did lead us in with the peaceful prison act, now comes the rioting!
