I'm hoping Robert got his hands on some more Curly Oak. He was running low on it last year. It is the one of most unappreciated Woodvils but coming in after plain Walnut. I've been around antique Oak furniture since I was a child and it's my favorite wood for every day, real world use. I had never seen Curly Oak until CO Woodvils.

BTW, Good Day Fine REO Folk.

Alice, that's the very one I'm gonna try for come Christmas time!

And that is when I would say, "I am sorry, but you missed the deadline and it is already out for print. We will have to work out how next time we can ensure that everything is done perfectly for you before it goes to the printer."

And you are so right....most times, I just tell them tough tooties...well, in more words than that, but you get the idea. But when there is an opportunity to fix, I try. In this case, the photo was beautiful, but there were 5 homes in it...so it was hard to tell which one is the one for sale. So I fixed it. I just wish she had stayed with me....when I was working on this 3 days ago. :grr: The other two that asked for changes today got told no....those were simply cosmetic and wouldn't have been worth the money to address when they had plenty of time to address this over the last week. Dang...I am so wound up.

And it came to pass....the reason I hate this day so much. Pages approved, proofed, plated and waiting in line for our turn on the presses.....I get the dreaded email from client that says...I don't like that photo. Need to add an arrow or use different photo.:grr::glare: Then she says shes sorry...didn't read her email all weekend, when I specifically told her the schedule and how it would all go down. Cost me $42 to get that damn page unlocked and removed so I could replace it. I'm nearly sick with stress, hoping I didn't miss my place in line....can't afford to lose days in the production. I think I need to go vomit.

Wow Lisa! It's the middle of the afternoon...go get you some wine and chill out in your comfy recliner! Remember...

You are woman, hear you roar!Or...you are woman, watch you chill!!

Ebony and cocobolo both have seen some unnecessary roughness at my house. I have made a tiny dent in the corner of cocobolo, but the ebonies never showed any marks. Even the one I threw like a baseball across the room into the concrete floor (such a Spaz).
I remember running to it thinking it would be in a million fragments, but the REO was pristine. The drip tip and atty were goners though.

wow. did your souffle fall before or after?

Just want to share this cuz I'm still amazed and delighted that I am no longer chained to chainsmoking.

Today marks four wonderful years of freedom. Sometimes, like today, it's hard to believe that I used to have to smoke from the second I woke up till I went to sleep. I'm so very grateful to the original inventors of the e-cig.

My very first vape on a pen-style and I knew that, with one of those, I'd finally be free.

Who woulda guessed that somewhere down the road I'd be vaping on a box thingy that in no way resembled a cig?!

And, most importantly, that I'd come to know and love and admire and want to hang out, here and in real life, with so very many kind, generous, funny, crazy, intelligent whackos!

Thank you fine people for welcoming me and putting up with me ( i.e., Karen's first phone call to me and one of my first posts:facepalm:
I coulda been booted outa here...but I wasn't:)

So now, for good or evil, you're stuck with me!:p

Good morning baby brother  what's on for the day ?

well, lessee I had to do the, walking to the farmers market 'n an arts 'n crafts show to look at stuff I have absolutely no interest in. It was a nice day like today is, weatherwise, curse you Lord!? So that's when my better half wants to go out together.

It was either that or hang out with her friends playing some video game that makes you look like you're on drugs jumping and running inplace like a bozo.

Hear that? Yep, it's chains folks. I'm whipped but whatever. If I don't give her more time than she wants, except tutoring -- oh yeah that can't count , then she'll find a way to linking drama to failing the course. It's all good, I guess i try to save her because I can't save myself.

I live life two-stepping one day at a time, folks

You could have at least said hi to me the "not so fine" REO lady!

Now I will run off and sob quietly........................

Yeah, me too though it may not be quietly. RHP is being all mean to us Karen

Ladies, ladies. Don't fight over me, there's enough RHP for all the fine women of REOville!

Four years is so awesome. Congrats.
I haven't yet made a year but each day takes me closer. A little less than 2 months and I'll hit that milestone.

Well Hi Woodard! A day at a time and who knows how long we'll get to say we've been cig-free! I don't believe I've seen you here before?
My real name is Kay, I'm glad to meet you.
I see by your sig that you've been free of them nasty analogs for close to a year and you're already smart enough to be vaping on a Reo!

It took me close to three years to get to the very best...but better late than never:)
